This is a nice place!
I completely agree with many of the things that the previous reviewer stated. This place is dated, it is between a street and the ocean (not what I would call a busy street), the furniture is dated, etc.
But, like many older things. .. charm has emerged.
The MATURE landscaping is immaculate. It is like a park. In fact, for being a bit dated the most appropriate words are «well kept».
It was a breeze checking in. The parking is good. The people are friendly and the sunset views are to die for.
Sunset brings up another thought. There are 4 BBQs that are right by the ocean front for general use. I have NEVER seen BBQs so clean except when new. They are one example of the maintenance this place gets. They turn out to be a social gathering place for those who leisurely cook, drink and socialize while they watch the sunset.
We can sit in our room and look out at the ocean with Molokai in the background. If you are lucky you will see whales spouting in the distance. You do not need luck to visit with the sea turtles that gather down by the BBQs.
This place is clean, clean, clean. .. and dated. If you want a brand spanking new place this is not for you. If you want a nice older place with character you might like it here. .. we certainly did!
