Martinizing Dry Cleaning

Took a california king size comforter and blanket in to be dry cleaned because they had a few blood spots on them. After three days, my husband picked them up and when we put them on the bed, the blanket still had the blood spots and the comforter’s inside batting was bunched up. The cost for these two items was $ 54.00 and we asked for dry cleaning and they said they put them in a large washer/​dryer. They re-​did the blanket and got most of the stains out, but they stated the comforter was defective from the manufacturer. They should have stated these would not be dry cleaned and they should have inspected these items before we picked them up. Luckily, we were able to return the comforter to Macy’s. The manager didn’t offer to refund the charge or a portion of it; we were inconvenienced with two trips to the cleaners and they didn’t even check to see if the stains were removed or the comforter was ruined.
We will never go there again and would not recommend them.
