Rainbow Glass & Mirror

I have used this company for the last 5 years and I am an interior designer who is very particular about who I use. I couldn’t believe the negative reviews. I have had nothing but superior customer service and products at reasonable prices. A rarity in Maui!!!

After more than a month, we gave up on getting Rainbow Glass and Mirror to respond to our call for help in repairing our sliding door. We are off-​island owners who rent our condo to vacationers. We were booked solid in April but had an opening, which we provided to Rainbow, along with their entry code to do the work. This after their call to inquire when they could do the job. They were a no-​show and didn’t bother to let us know the date/​time we provided was not acceptable to them. We figure they see their business as something other than repair.

I was very surprised to see such a negative review for this company. Last year we had them install a frameless shower door for us and everything about this company, it’s product and the professionals they employ, was exceptional.
Today they replaced two slider patio doors for us. Again, timely, professional and a pleasure to work with.

I am not happy about being the first one who leaves a comment about Rainbow glass and Mirror especially a bad one, however I definitely would like to put it out there what kind of business they do. I tried to get an estimate on a shower glass wall, called them, talked to Steve and he was nice on the phone, told me to email him my information about the job and told me he will get back to me in a few days. I e-​mailed him as he requested it. He didn’t call me or respond to my e-​mail so I called him back. He didn’t have time to give me an estimate and gave me the website address to check out the type of glass (by the way that website doesn’t exist).
It has been about three weeks ago now that I first talked to him and still haven’t heard anything back. Not a good customer service and definitely not good for business!
