My family and I made an offer on a house currently listed with remax best. The owners of the house accepted the offer and the contract was drawn up. The owner of remax decided that it wasn’t necessary to stop showing the house even though the offer was accepted. Long story short, remax stole the house from right under us claiming they got a better offer… again after the contract was drawn. They used our contract to get a better offer. I don’t know how they felt ethically they were allowed to continue showing a house once the owners agreed to the offer. Remax also would not have the owners of the house sign anything to say the owner accepted the offer under their ridiculous «good grace offer» term. I found remax best to be very unprofessional, unethical, and absolutely disgusting. This was the most shady type of business I’ve ever had any interaction with. I would NOT recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home.
