Wishing Well At Lake Arrowhead

Out of business– closed May 2014
Lake Arrowhead Village management company is running the village into the ground. One business after another closing!

So sad. The Wishing Well went down the well. Out of Business. What is the new management company company going to do to keep the staple businesses of the Lake Arrowhead businesses shopping center. Cheap rent is better than No Rent.

As soon as I walked into this store, the owner was talking to a few customers about suing and counter-​suing someone and that she has no doubt that she will definitely win the case. Hmmm… Kinda strange… As I was browsing around, the owner was then on the phone talking in a pretty loud voice that there was a customer who filed a complaint and straight out called her a «bitch» in front of other customers. How tacky and unclassy of her! I guess she was flaunting that she is not afraid to call customers a bitch because her voice was not getting any softer and she refused to get off the phone until she was through with her conversation. She even greeted the customers WHILE SHE WAS STILL ON THE PHONE HAVING A FULL-​ON CONVERSATION! I knew that this place was a total joke. I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing. She should have kept this conversation more private instead of calling one of her employees and publicly announcing the situation. I know I would not be wanting to give my business at this place. Weirdo~

Had the worst experience, went yesterday (2/16/14)with my family, first time visiting Lake Arrowhead, the employee was rude and I caught her making a disgusting face and rolling her eyes just because my brother said that he was just looking when she approached him and asked him if he had any questions about something he was looking at. A couple minutes before this incident I was walking with my daughter around the store, and the same elder employee/​owner (not sure if she was the owner, I hope not), asked me the same question and when I said with my sweetest tone of voice that I was just looking around, she kept walking straight without even acknowledging my smile! Very surprise to find that type of customer service in such a touristic location. If I was the owner of this store I would send this employee to a customer service class. Very disappointed. I would never go back or recommend this place, instead I’d go back to places like Solvang, Santa Barbara, Sequoia, even Big Bear that is not too far from here.

I am in love with this store. Seasonal décor, lodge linens, collectables, Irish home décor, Jim Shore and so much more!

This place is where I go for my magickal tools when up at my cabin. The owner there is such a sweet lady and has a special pet, ask her to show you a picture. INCREDIBLE.

Loved the serenity about this place Mary was fabulous.
