On the smaller side of libraries, but the staff that work there are very helpful. Their kids section in the basement is great. I actually come here often to study because the have an amazing table upstairs that overlooks the rest of the library, complete with comfortable computer chairs and convenient outlets. A medical school student’s secret spot… though I fear that it may not be a secret any more after this review.

I was expecting some rinky-​drink library. Sorry Lake Bluff. I’m too spoiled by the Lake Forest Library. But I was pleasantly surprised to find an airy place. Granted, it is small but that seems to fit the town. The sections were easy to find and check-​out was simple.
The children’s portion of the library was downstairs. There’s a back room that doesn’t get much light but the front portion was enjoyable to be in as the kids checked out the books. I was also thrilled to find that they have the BOB reading system books there. I will definitely be back to check those out this summer!
