Not a great burger joint but not a bad one either. May have been an ominous sign when there wasn’t a person to be seen inside the restaurant during my lunch stop. The area where you first walk in is really cute with little candies and knick knacks for sale. I meandered up to the counter and got the ridiculous burger with corn nuggets. The name drew me in but the taste didn’t match its moniker. I was expecting to be blown away by the combo of all the ingredient like double beef patties, an egg, bacon, etc. All that was sandwiched in between two grilled cheeses top and bottom. It was lacking something. maybe more sauce and just ended up tasting like a typical fast food burger. One thing I dislike is overcooked eggs! Tater tots were also just alright and cold in the middle. I’m glad I gave it a try though and I might give it a second whirl on my next stop back to Lake City.

Walk up to the counter & order your food & sit down at a table & they will bring it out to you. Nothing fancy about this local joint. Just a clean burger joint. Decorated with a western theme. Free chips with ranch dipping sauce while you wait on your food. Hamburger was good. Soft bun… choice of wheat or white. Onion rings were hot & crispy & the dipping sauce was spicy. Friendly staff. Fast service & they brought out our food out quickly. If your in the area, give it a try. Better than a fast burger joint.

We walked in and it’s set up order at the counter style. We had 9 in our group all on the same ticket. No sooner had we ordered and found a seat, they were already bringing our food out. The burgers are served on the softest homemade buns. I love a good burger. These didn’t disappoint. Fast service. Good food. Very Clean.

Excellent place to eat with fair prices. Burgers are always served up nice and juicy. For lunch I use the drive through and gets me going fast. My favorite item on the menu is the pastrami sandwich. But everything has been good so far.

Passing through from Tallahassee to Jacksonville Unilocaled a place for lunch and picked Rays. Great place to stop. Food was great. Burgers, wrap and salad were our choices with many varieties to choose from.

Great place about a mile from highway. Delicious food, burgers and sandwiches. Quick and friendly service. Definitely worth driving past the usual suspects lining the interstate to get to Ray’s.

Ray’s has really improved since it’s opening, now they advertise fresh produce and that really makes a difference. If you are hungry and adventurous you should try the ridiculous burger, which has grilled cheese sandwiches instead of buns, and it has enough calories to last you a week, but it’s worth it. My favorites are the Ben’s steak and cheese or the grilled chicken ranch wrap. Ray’s has very friendly and fast service.

Great restaurant located about a mile off of I-​75.
My girlfriend and I wanted a break from fast food as while we were traveling North and decided to turn to Unilocal.This place came up so we decided to try it. She ordered a bacon cheddar burger and I ordered a bronco burger. The bronco burger by far was the winner! It has a good level of heat and was delicious. The service was good too. They also provided free chips and dip while you wait.
If you are in the area, definitely try this restaurant!

Traveling down 75 my belly started grumbling. Instead of stopping at your typical fast food places, we looked up places to eat in Lake City. We found Ray’s had good reviews. It’s a little way off of 75 but not too far to be inconvenient. I ordered the bacon cheddar burger and fries. The food was fresh and the wait was short. The burger was better than average but not the best burger I’ve ever had. I was not a fan of the fries. My partner in crime ordered the steak and cheese sandwich with the tots. This sandwich was super yummy and the tots were a nice change from fries. It was definitely worth the extra ½ mile to eat there. My only regret is that I didn’t partake of the pie. I love pies.
