Great family run Xmas experience every year! Santa, a fire pit, warm cider, pre cut or cut your own. We find the prices very reasonable considering the selection, service and quality– our trees last well into January. Why anyone would buy from a parking lot is beyond me!

I love this place. I think it’s really special that they care about the environment and plant trees in order to preserve the soil and grow trees in a healthy manner. We go there every year for our tree. We love going and looking for our tree to put up. They have Santa, sleds, a warming house with cider & cocoa, and a teepee where someone talks about life as a native american. They have a really great variety of trees to choose from for the holidays. I love when you walk into the building where you pay and it smells like Christmas. It’s Heavenly.

Had fun but trees were quite pricey and not the best looking

Plastic trees smell like chemical death. Real trees smell like magic. I grew up with only real trees, and last year decided to go to a tree farm(versus the U of MN tree sale, which is also great). After doing some research(and trust me, I love the research), the bf and I decided to get our tree from Krueger’s. After a 30+ minute drive, we arrive at the Krueger’s Christmas Tree farm. SOOOCUTE. My boyfriend, who usually never gets into the *holiday spirit*, was the first to grab the tree sled, an axe, and head out to the cuttable trees. HUGE selection of various types of trees, and thanks to all that research, we knew exactly what kind of tree we wanted(fraser fir). Now, we didn’t realize that most people who want to cut down their own tree will go right after Thanksgiving and mark the tree they want. Because of that and our early-mid December visit, all of the nice looking trees to cut down were already«taken», leaving only the weird Charlie Brown’s Christmas-looking trees left. And for the price of those trees… not worth it. BUT, although we didn’t get to cut down our own tree(next year!), there were plenty of picture perfect pre-cut trees to pick from. They also tied the tree onto my car for us, which was awesome because the bf and I are way too urban for our own good. We went home with what was honestly the prettiest and most perfectly shaped christmas tree either of us has ever had. And, thanks to proper trimming and watering care, it lasted almost a full month! The trees are pricey(our 6.5 ft tree was around $ 50), but for the smells, the holiday aesthetic, and the memories, they are totally worth it.
