This little place is a hidden secret. It’s location is a really cute Mexican village type scenery. It’s clean and the lady that works there is incredibly nice, and helps you make food options. I tried the carne Asada burrito and it was amazing, torta de Milanesa was made of fresh soft bread! It will def. be a place I visit often, great service and price! …you also get a lake view! Only thing was that when I went it was morning and wanted coffee, maybe some «café de olla» lol but honestly the salsa and everything else made it worth while trying! Great Place!

After my first visit, I would have given them 5 stars!!! The woman behind the counter was helpful, attentive, and super sweet. The breakfast foods we ordered were pretty damn good too! We ate them on the patio– a cool little spot that I would have never guessed was nestled in the heart of old town.
My second visit, a few days later: we went in for dinner. The girl behind the counter was probably the single most UNHELPFUL person I have ever encountered. Not only did she answer all of my questions in a rude tone, she suggested that I just eat a salad. Since I was having a hard time finding something that I wanted, and wasn’t allergic to. (Sorry, if i wanted a salad, id go make one at home).
Then she just started helping the man behind me, and passed over me completely. It’s not like I was taking a long time to order, half of my order had already been placed, I was just trying to decide on one last item. She was just a B****!!!
I had waited in a line of 4 people, before getting up to the front, and after that little girls’ attitude, I left without even placing an order. Way to lose a customer… FOREVER. Which sucks too because we live right down the street and eat out (in town) pretty often.

How is it possible that after living here over 20 years today was my first visit to this wonderful little gem? The most delicious, fresh and authentic Mexican food within a very wide radius! Had an amazing orange-​marinated carnitas torta that was delicious on so many levels. Service was awesome. And the outdoor patio setting was divine. I must now make up for lost time!!! I really can’t wait to go back. Maybe tomorrow!!!

Ordered the chicken tortilla soup, taco special, carne asada burrito and a bean tostada. Would come back here just for the DELICIOUS chicken tortilla soup. It’s to die for.
Service is great.
Food is great.
Atmosphere was great.

I don’t think I would have discovered this place on my own which I would have been a regret I would have never known about. Thankfully I don’t have to live with an invisible regret because this is now another place I can recommend my friends when we visit Lake Elsinore!
Once your are inside the gated plaza the location and the layout is warm and welcoming compared to all places I have tried in lake Elsinore.
I asked for recommendations for a burrito and was told that the top three burritos here is the carne asada, adobada, and the shrimp burrito. Being my first time here and with the carne asada burrito on the top of the burrito menu list it became my obvious choice.
The burrito itself has a delicious and soft tortilla filled with ingredients including guacamole and cilantro, some of my favorite ingredients. I know some people have cilantro sensitivity, which is good because they are polite enough to ask if I was ok with the ingredients. The meat was good but I would have been happier with the shrimp burrito, which will need to be eaten next time I am in the area.

One of the first places we ate at over 25 years ago was this unique takeout eat at the park location. The food is always hot fresh good, we’ve eaten all the menu and I’ve always enjoyed our meals at the park restaurant. Bring a blanket in the grass or eaten the patio you won’t be disappointed with the authentic Mexican taste. My favorite is the pork loin torta, delicious. We will continue to visit often.

They have the best mexican food! I always order the torta and ceviche! All the food is amazing!

Love this place! Everything that I’ve had form here is amazing! I love their chile relleno burritos and chicken tortilla soup! Everything is so delicious I never know what to get when I go there! Would recommend to everyone!

I’ve eaten at this place on two different occasions and I can say I have not been disappointed either times. The first time I had their gorditas, my people call them sopes, but they were really good. Just yesterday I ordered the adobada burrito and I have to say that it is my favorite burrito hands down. The adobada had really good flavor and I like how they put guacamole in their burrito without having to ask for it and being charged extra. I will be getting it again. I should have stopped eating it at the half way mark but it was too good not to finish.
Go eat at this place, you wont be disappointed.
My tip for this place however is the people behind the counter could be a bit more friendly.

The best shrimp and fish tacos! This is my go to place for lunch any day! Their chips and salsa are addicting and under 2 bucks! Everything I’ve tried here has been great!

Ive been going here for years with my family. We love the food! Especially their chile rellenos, yummy! They also have great shrimp tostadas! The staff & owners are amazing! So friendly & helpful. We will continue to support this business!

Went El Unico this past Saturday on my occasional visit since remodeling. Food was excellent as usual. Of all the entrees the Chicken Mole is my favorite dish. I admit on average a bit pricey but I will pay for taste and flavor of good food.

Wow! What a gem this place is! I was working in the area and I asked where was a good place to eat? They suggested El Unico.
I ordered their Gorditas platter. It had rice, beans and 2 Gorditas for almost $ 9.00 no drink was ordered.
It was sooooo good! The meat wasn’t dry, the beans were yummy and the rice (Spanish rice with peas, carrots and corn) reminded me of someone’s mamas homemade version. No one can ever beat moms Spanish rice.
The salsa was also good too I asked for both and my liking was towards the red salsa, spicy and flavorful. A definite go back for me when I’m in the area.
Lastly I really enjoyed their lovely patio luckily it wast too hot in Elsinore this day and there’s plenty of shade to eat under.

I moved here from AZ for work. I found this wonderful place just driving by & decided this has got to be a great place to eat!!! I was absolutely right!!! The food here is just like moms home cooked Mexican food. And the staff is so AMAZING & FRIENDLY… LOVE THEM!!! I give this place 10 stars!!!

I have lived a very short walking distance from this place since December, and for some unknown reason I have never eaten here until today. Well THAT has now changed because they just became my new addiction. I love the outdoor vibe they got goin’ on, and will sit out on the patio my next visit since I had to do carry out today. The prices are super affordable as well!
I ate the shrimp burrito, and OMG it is amazing! It us full of delicious shrimps and the perfect size so I’m not stuffed but also full and no longer hungry. My gf got the chicken gorditas (sopes) and a carne asada taco and loved all of it! My next venture will be to walk down one morning (possibly this next Saturday) and try their breakfast out on the patio. You gotta’ try this place!!!

I really try not to eat out but this place im addicted to we go at least once a week now that we discovered it I know tisk tisk… it’s become a ritual. I have had the carne asada tacos always juicy which is nuts because how can something be so good if all they put on it is guacamole, they have a torta that they put tons of carne asada on and the gorditas (carne asada) plate has to be my favorite soooooo juicy favorite place to eat.:)

Went there Halloween night 10 mins before closing. Were welcomed in without hesitation. We felt bad about staying but they insisted it was ok! Food was SO fresh and tasty. Loved the remodel job. Entire staff was so nice and friendly. Our new go to for authentic, flavorful Mexican food!

Man this is spot is bomb. Very good tacos de tripa“Crunchy”, tacos de carne asada. Very good seasoning on the meat. My wife had tacos de Camarones and she loved it. Recommend there food.

I have driven past this taco stand and have always wanted to stop. I finally got my chance today. It’s a charming little place with a gorgeous patio area for eating.
Now, the food. First of all, I wasn’t able to order a combo plate with one enchilada and one chile relleno. Pretty standard fare. But no substitutions. Ok fine, I can hang.
I chose the two cheese enchilada plate. The enchiladas tasted like manicotti. I’m not kidding. It was bizarre. The enchilada sauce tasted like Prego. No good. The rice and beans were just average. I’m pretty disappointed.
My daughter had the carne asada burrito plate. The burrito was fantastic. Truly one of the best she’s had. That’s why I gave this 3 stars. That and the beautiful patio.
So, will I return? I guess so. I’ll try something different next time obvs. I’m hoping my meal failure was a one time thing.
