This little market has THE BEST Food to order. The chef there will cook terriyaki chicken, spicy soup, short ribs, and various different hot dishes. Price range from $ 4.99 to $ 8.99 normal price is $ 7.99 for lots of meat vegetables and rice plate to go.
Big Bold Pictures of every dish is shown on the wall, making it much easier for me to order what i want for lunch and sometimes dinner.
This is a true hidden spot for those who want exceptionally tasty lunch box to go.
The market has been cooking food for the past two weeks and therefore when i say hidden, that is exactly what i mean. NOBODY knows about this place yet. No giant signs, No advertising that they cook, No nothing until you go inside and see the menu on the wall.
I cannot imagine such delicious food is made in a local convenience store.
Service is extremely fast. Food is extremely delicious.
I like take out so this is an excellent choice for me.
I did recall seeing a couple tables outside the store but I am not particularly comfortable ordering something and sitting outside, but maybe when i am too hungry to take the food home I might consider it.

This is the go to mini mart. I live close to it so I can take walks there. They have excellent customer service and the employees are very friendly. Go here!

It is dumping snow outside. I have run out of vital necessities (yes it may seem like just coffee creamer, vino, and my hubby’s cigarettes to you, but after four days stuck in the house due to the snow — VITAL NECESSITIES). I just called down to the Market and THEY ARE OPEN. Despite a foot of snow and freezing rain, those wonderful folks at Lake Forest Park Market are there to make sure I can have my morning cup of joe the way I like it and so I can make Braised Short Ribs as they should be made, with red wine, all without having to risk anything but some cold toes on the walk. Thanks for saving my bacon!

for a convenience store, they have a very decent selection of wine. Also, the store’s owners are very nice people. It’s a very nice neighborhood store.
