Our neighbor referred us to 1st Choice because we needed to replace our furnace. We met with James and Chris on a Saturday. They recommended the best model for the size of our home (and it was not the most expensive model). They clearly explained the entire process and everything was done in two days. We are so happy we went with this company. These guys are great and very professional. We will definitely be hiring them when we are ready to install central air.

I was remodeling my backyard and needed someone to disconnect the AC outside and reconnect it after the job is done. I called multiple places that gave ridiculously expensive estimates. Some others insisted on paying for a service visit just to give me estimate. I called 1st choice and Chris gave me a very reasonable estimate on the phone. He managed to accommodate my schedule despite his busy schedule during those days. He is very professional and quick to complete the job. Always smiling and explaining what he is doing. Highly recommended.

My first review ever, but I must do this. Outstanding experience !!! James came to give an estimate to replace our A/​C unit. Was here when he said he would be. Took all the info needed and later that day we had a written proposal. Price was less than 2 large companies, for a better unit. We accepted and set a date. Showed up on time and did all work as quoted. James was a pleasure to work with!!! I’m very happy we went with the little guy as opposed to the big Company because we where treated like family not like just another customer. The job was completed and cleaned up in less than a day. Could not have gone better. Need a heat/​ac man call James…

I work for the Orange County Rescue Mission in Tustin and I have been using Chris and his Crew for a couple years now and they have been great. They are always very responsive and quick to complete the job. Pricing is fair and the quality of work has been great. If you are in need of someone knowledgable whether it be for a large full unit upgrade down to a small repair job these are the guys to call.

A good friend recommended 1st Choice and I’m thrilled. Having never had to hire anyone to repair or replace a furnace in my life, you could imagine the stress it caused. After speaking with James and meeting him at the rental property, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to access the issue and provide recommendations. I also contacted two other HVAC companies — I’m the kind that needs to do the due diligence.
I decided to replace the 30 year old furnace which 1st Choice did within 48hrs! Not only that, their price was by far the best of the three options (for the repair and/​or replacement).

I had another company install an AC and heat unit earlier this year. They were very quick but they were not able to move the unit to the side yard like I hoped. I called 1st Choice after tripping over the AC on my way to the BBQ for the last time. They were professional and very helpful in helping me get exactly what I wanted. 1st Choice Heating & Air Conditioning were recommended to me by a couple of friends who recently used their service for home air conditioning installs. They said they were friendly, efficient, did the job as quoted and completed the home install in one day. That is exactly what I experienced in dealing with Chris and James from 1st Choice. I would recommend them to anyone looking for air conditioning. They installed it professionally, in one day, even made some adjustments to my existing heater unit so I can easily change filters. They also gave detailed explanations on how to use my new unit, answered all my questions (and continue to be accessible via phone, text or email should I have any further questions) and left a clean workspace. Pretty much did all you can ask for and more.

They were able to diagnose my air conditioner the same day it broke. However, since the unit was already 20 years old I decided to get a new one even though they were offering to repair it. They were very professional, on time, prompt, and courteous. The new AC was installed quickly without compromise of quality workmanship in about 4 hours.
