I have been taking my cars to BP since 1979 and they ALWAYS come through for me with emergency and scheduled repairs! Yes, as mentioned, it is a relationship built on trust, great and expert service, and real compassion for car owners who NEED to get their car fixed and back to them asap. Their diagnostics are accurate 100% of the time, and their repair prices do not gouge my pocket book. Def. take your car to them and rest assured they will give you a 5 star service! This is a relationship of trust. I never go anywhere else for service. I have been a client here for years. They NEVER try and up sell me. I never feel like they are ripping me off.
I get gas here too (even though it is not the cheapest price) because I like their loyalty program (free car wash).

A full-​service gas station still exists? Indeed. And, of course, it exists in Lake Forest.
Their gas prices are consistently higher than the national average or even the Chicago average, which is unfortunate because my gas light only seems to come on in Lake Forest. *shakes fist*
They have two full service pumps (the ones nearest the storefront). There’s no signage on those pumps, of course, and it lets you run through the entire self-​serve process… so beware because otherwise you’re going to pay 70 cents more per gallon.
