If I could give this wonderful woman more than 5 stars I would!!! I am 24 and I had always wanted to learn to play the piano and she has made it such a fun and rewarding experience for me!!! She is an incredible teacher and friend!!! It’s never too late to learn!!! Call Christy!!!

Christy has been teaching my 11 y.o. for about a year now, and it has been a great experience for him. He was struggling in group lessons and daily practice had become very frustrating for both of us! We were both ready for him to quit entirely but, thankfully, the group lesson teacher recommended trying private lessons with Christy. Thank goodness! He has improved so much and is ENJOYING playing again. Christy is so positive and encouraging — he always leaves his lesson feeling confident and capable of practicing whatever she has assigned. Her personality is perfect — she is always able to make him leave there feeling happy! Obviously, I highly recommend Christy.

Christy comes to our house and teaches our 2 young boys. My youngest started at 5, and is now 6. Older boy started at 8 and is just about 9. Both boys have made great gains in their ability to play and read music. Christy is very nuturing and patient and makes it all fun for the boys. I get them to practice, but quite often they are down there on their own playing and it is so great to hear. Christy is currently working on getting my eldest ready for a talent show.

I love Christy’s style of teaching! In only three 30 min lessons I am reading and playing music! I enjoy her positive attitude and friendly smile! She is helping me reach a goal and make my dream come true of playing an instrument! I highly recommend her if you want to truly learn how to play!
