Disciples Church

So… You’re looking for a church in Orange County. You’ve got quite a few glamorous options. But when it comes down to having a real family that knows you, teaches you, and pushes you to be a better Christ follower — you don’t have THAT many places to go.
Disciples has filled a very much needed void for my family. From the first second we walked in the door, it was different. Nothing was stale and rehearsed, the introductions didn’t to be mandated from the pulpit; (there was no «turn and greet your neighbor…) they happened organically, easily, and authentically.
Worship is solid and fulfilling. Teaching is engaging and truth filled. Conversations are personable and honest.
One more thing. I’ve got two toddlers. Mere trips to the second story of our home can be logistical and emotional roller coasters. The childcare at Disciples is impressive, comforting, and second only to Grandma. There’s no one I would rather leave my little minions with. Got kids? Bring ‘em.
If you would like to find out what the church-​y buzzwords community and authenticity really look like in, come on over one Sunday. There’s only one service, so I won’t miss you :).

Never have I found a family so devoted to the calling of Christ and living out the gospel

To me, church is people with an intentional mission of following Jesus. This church is that & more… actually, here, less is more. It’s not your typical OC church. You won’t find flashy, bells or whistles — It’s actually as if you’ve walked into a small hometown church. Its rustic & raw… but I like that, it’s simple. BUT the worship! The Holy Spirit! The people! The love! I love the fact that being «intentional» and truly living out their faith is a priority. I think that says a lot about a church. Today Pastor Tyson said, «I don’t want us to DO church, I want us to BE the church!» I think people are done w/​just going to church…

One word that describes this church is family; the kind of family where everyone is welcome. This is a place where individuals and families come together and stay together, as we seek the Lord. After songs and prayer together, children have a fun and age-​appropriate Bible lesson that lends to discipleship. Discipleship for all: becoming passionate followers of Jesus, putting his alternative ways into practice in real life is the desire of this church. Come here to seek the Lord, hear Biblical truth, worship, fellowship… stay for the meal!

A place that proclaims the love, power, and glory of Jesus. A place to know God and be known by His people. God is bringing His Kingdom to earth and Disciples Church is always seeking to be a vehicle for that purpose.
