Not bad for a quick bite if you’re stopping by the Lake Forest oasis. But be warned! The food is never hot. Not really cold but just lukewarm. This KFC also shares its space with Taco Bell.

Apparently this KFC closes at 10pm… but at approximately 10:01pm on a Saturday, the counter appeared to be open and there were people standing around, and it was only after waiting for several minutes that an employee rudely (and practically incomprehensibly) informed us that they were closed. Really? How about a sign, or even better, recognizing that it’s, you know, close enough, and we’re on a tollway for heaven’s sake, so we’re probably tired and hungry. Not a fan, KFC.
