Deal fell thru on my house purchase. Took a week to allegedly send my deposit refund, because she«didn’t have my address(really with all the documents I signed?), I say allegedly because it still hasn’t arrived another week later and I am in the same city. I might point out that when I paid the deposit they insisted on wire transfer, so why not wire it back to me? I have to wait ten days(only a few to go) and then they will reissue. Fast forward to Monday May 10. Check arrived with a May 8 postmark. So Angela misrepresented the truth when she told me it went out May 5. One would think that you could trust the word of an escrow company, that they would operate with integrity.

We just sold our house in Tustin, and Kimberly Tulo was the Escrow Officer. All her communication was clear and she answered all the questions I had in a timely manner. Almost all the documentation was able to be electronically signed which made things easy and smooth. Their Notary came out on a weekend and handled all the notarized documents and when an amended document was needed, Lighthouse was able to generate the document on a saturday and email it to us while the Notary was there all within 15 miniutes. Our wire was in our account and available within hours. A+

And they never followed up to apologize for their mistake of not sending my refund to my address. They fail, so don’t use them.

We used Lighthouse to buy our first condo and we had a fantastic experience. We didn’t have a real estate agent so we needed some extra help. Jay Mills and Kimberly Tullo were very helpful and explained the mountains of paperwork in layman’s terms. I was impressed with their communication. They always answered our questions quickly and whenever any issues came up they let us know right away. We never felt like we were just another transaction, but felt taken care of throughout the whole process. We hit quite a few speed bumps in the process, none of them the fault of Lighthouse, but they helped us through them all. I would highly recommend Lighthouse Escrow.
