I am just not a fan. My husband said his phở was«good» but neither of us finished the small bowl. My beef was weird. It had that rainbow shine on the meat, eww, and had weird veins… Super eww. Hubby said his was like every other phở he has had. I am not well traveled in my food but my husband is being active duty during war time– he ate all around the world. And I’m not talking McDonald’s in China :) The egg rolls didn’t taste like what you would expect. To me, I felt like even the broth smell was gamey. No matter how much hot sauce I put in it, I couldn’t get into it. Regardless — I don’t think we will be coming back. Sorry

Quality Phở restaurant that provides a diverse menu that everyone can enjoy. I came here with my family and the waiter greeted us with a smile and took our orders. I had the Phở Dac Biet 89 special with a Thai tea. The broth was flavorful and the ingredients that made up the Phở was balanced. The Thai tea wasn’t too sweet and actually tasted like tea. My dad had the same as I did, but my little brother had the #49: Rice with Beef and Egg Roll. The presentation was good, and from what he said, it tasted delicious as well. The restaurant is clean, lighting is nice, prices are fair, and food is delicious. Would recommend trying this place out.

Kind of a hole in the wall place for some good Phở. I come here all the time and usually get the chicken or rare steak Phở. The fried calamari and the sauce that comes with it is really good too! Good price, good phở. Sometimes it can get busy during lunch time and the place is not big. Some of the servers don’t speak English very well but everyone is nice including the owner.

I decided to try the ox tail phở and it was delicious! I ordered a small bowl and they give you one nice hearty, meaty and juicy ox tail but its a perfect portion with the noodles and soup. I also love that they give you cilantro and sliced onions. Most places only give you bean sprouts and thai basil and lime. I will definitely be going back to try their other dishes. Oh, and their service is good. The workers are nice and pleasant and have the food hot, fresh, ready to go in no time!

This place is my go to Phở place. The owners are super sweet. Yes, it does take time for them to warm up to you but once they do they are lovely. I tend to go there when I’m sick which is a quiet often and they already know my order. I love there meatball phở and their hot jasmine milk tea it’s amazing! They have delicious spring rolls and egg rolls too. Give this place a try it awesome.

Best phở I’ve had in a while. Flavorful without being oily or msg loaded. Good cuts of beef and tendon. Recommended and will come again if in the area!

I like this place, good phở specials & bahn mi. $ 10.99 for a phở soup, 2 eggrolls, & a can of soda. Completely filling. Their eggrolls/crispy springrolls are tastier than most vietnamese places. Milk tea with boba is great. Owners are always really friendly, always quick food service.

I searched Unilocal for a good bun bo hue(beef noodle soup) place. Some Unilocalers said the bun bo hue here was good so obviously i had to try it. Size: Excellent portion Color: a little on the red orange side. Not authentic looking as it should be. It should be sort of a carmel brown color. Taste: not authentic Meat: very chewy Ingredients: Lacked the authentic pork hocks and blood squares If i decide to go back, I will not order the bun bo hue again. Overall: tasty if Ive never had the authentic soup to compare it with. I was disappointed as it lacked the authentic flavors and ingredients.

Cheap and fresh. How phở should be! We come here religiously to get great service and food at a bargain.

Thai iced tea & a grilled pork chop. Not sure exactly what the dipping sauce is but that hit the right spot :-)

We are white people eating Phở, so take this review with a grain of salt if you are seeking authentic Vietnamese because we couldn’t tell you what that is. That said, the Ox Tail Phở with tons of Sriracha and basil is FABULOUS! Not super greasy like some other places. Egg rolls are tasty, too. Decent Thai Iced Tea as well. We’ve gotten excellent service the times we have been here, so I’m surprised by the other reviews, maybe depends what time you are there. We definitely recommend this place :)

If you’re looking for an Authentic Vietnamese Restaurant in Orange County, look no further! This is one of my favorite Vietnamese places in Southern Orange County. They serve the best Bun Bo and I like the spicy sauce they give you on the side so you can add your own level of spiciness. I don’t eat spicy foods so that was particularly a plus for me. We ordered spring rolls as an appetizer and they tasted so fresh! The owners are extremely patient and very nice. They are attentive and brought us everything we asked for. My boyfriend ordered the Phở Dac Biet and he loved it! He even finished the broth which is an unheard of thing for him and not often done at restaurants. The price is fair for a Southern Orange County establishment and I would definitely pay the price for their excellent service and authentic food.

I give it a 4 star because if you live in lake forest then you know mos of the phở houses out here suck. I happen to work near this place yet I rarly come here. The place is small but nice and clean. The staff is friendly and they have a large menu. There drinks are also good to try. I’m having a peach boba(minus the boba) and its good.

Fresh coconut water served in the coconut itself? Yes please! Cantonese fried rice is cooked with pork, chicken, and shrimp… and its yummy! The rice itself was a tad overcooked. Place is clean, service is friendly and you can only pay with a card if the total is $ 10 or more… mine usually is but keep that in mind. Will be returning… happy customer!

I love not having to drive to Little Saigon for phở. This friendly Phở restaurant serves a satisfying oxtail phở. They gave me the oxtail on a separate plate and I added it to my phở. The oxtail was tender and tasty. There was more of it than I expected to receive. The broth was good, not greasy and there was a good amount of noodles. Our waters were refilled without having to ask. We were given fortune cookies after we finished our meal. They also had pad thai on their menu, which surprised me. I did not try it but was curious. My husband and I had an enjoyable and pleasant meal here.
