So so sad! Phở Sapa was my favorite! Sorry to see they closed. Now I have to find a new place.

After being in Sapa Vietnam half way around the world it’s neat to see a Phở Sapa here in Orange County. The food service here is fast and friendly. Definitely a family owned environment. Phở is not bad despite not being«Little Saigon» located Phở. The price is reasonable for South Orange County Phở. Convenient, Fast, Yummy.

This had been our go-to local phở spot until a bad experience this weekend. The owner had her 2 young grade-school kids in the restaurant for some reason. The kids were impressively loud monsters in this small restaurant for our entire meal. They screamed at each other while playing a loud iPad game and later started hitting each other, which induced even louder screaming, while their mother did nothing. Other patrons were annoyed too because the experience was absolutely surreal and we had to leave before finishing our meal. I’m pretty sure these kids will grow up to be serial killers because of no parental disciplining whatsoever and a natural inclination towards violence. Anyhow, while trying our best to endure the cacophony of screaming violent children, we noticed that the phở we’d previously liked started to taste off-putting. The broth is decent but the meat is cheap and tasteless and the egg rolls we’d had for appetizers were just reheated and bland. We won’t be going back here, which is too bad considering it’s right down the street.

Phở Sapa is a solid 4 stars. Everything is very reasonably priced, service is pretty quick, and the flavor is there. The phở broth is quite tasty; pretty salty but I think that’s how it should be! Their egg rolls are always fried perfectly and come with generous lettuce to wrap, and fish sauce to dip. I’ve gotten takeout phở from here several times and they do a really nice job of packaging up everything as well! The plaza is a little sketch, and not the best parking, but still better and easier than more populous places in OC.

This place is the next best phở place other than Garden Grove/Westminster area. Absolutely love it!

Some of the best phở I’ve had in southern OC. They are a small restaurant but really quite friendly. I have tried their rare steak/brisket/chicken phở and spring rolls. Not disappointed at all and the spring rolls are kind of a-maze balls. Try them out if you are in the area. They have Happy hour specials dine in 2pm-5pm :)

First Phở. My girl had the chicken and I had the brisket. Both were excellent. Prices are great too. Very clean and neat inside. Vegetables were very fresh. Owner helped us on how to assemble.

Had phở tai nam. Broth very tasty. $ 1 Thai tea if you check in. Over all, good food. Would return for Phở broth soup

Ok so my neighbor raves about this place. I put a order for takeout, a small combo phở. The broth was way salty. I had to cut the broth with an equal amount of water. After that it was a little better. I did get a ton of noodles but not some much meat. They are fast though. Looks like I will be sticking to chopsticks down the street. Unfortunately they take forever.

First of all do not write any reviews unless you’ve eaten their Phở. It says Phở is the f$;& name. Last review by Trang L is totally useless. She just ate an egg roll. What a f&@ing idiot. This place has the best PHO in all of South OC. The broth is temperature perfect and seasoned perfect. It can hold up against most restaurants in Westminster. Eat the PHO and judge for yourself. Only bad part about this restaurant is it is very small and there are lots of day laborers hang around in the parking lot. Just be safe.

The food is amazing for South county. Flavorful broth. The location sucks. Don’t judge the place by how it looks on the outside. Best phở place outside of little Saigon.

This was a very disappointing experience… I had a craving for authentic Vietnamese egg rolls, and found this on Unilocal. This was fairly new to the location of where my work was and I was so excited to try this. It only means that I don’t have to travel 20 mins to get decent Vietnamese food… Yeah… guess again!!! I only ordered the EGGROLLS…(thank god!) They looked very pretty… but they tasted PRETTYDISGUSTING!!! It wasn’t even REALMEAT!!! WTH!!! While I was eating the MEATLESS egg rolls, I was wondering if the inside was cardboard or some sort of beans…(reminded me of how China got caught for importing cardboard as meat in some of their food products a few years back) My co-worker got the ROASTED/BBQ Chicken w/Steamed Rice. I tasted it just in case I’m being harsh on them due to their egg rolls… No I was not!!! Chicken was chewy, tough, kinda rubbery, and the flavor was totally off. Did not taste anything like BBQ nor is it ROASTED. Had more of a Curry and Persian flavor that did not really work for me nor my co-worker. It was truly HORRIBLE, and I am so embarrass to know that there is a Vietnamese restaurant that services such UNEATABLEFOOD. :-( Do yourself a favor and NOT bother with this place. Take the drive to Garden Grove… there are at least decent and great places to have Vietnamese food…

Everytime I go here, I get a friendly smile, fast service, and great food. It’s the best Phở in Saddleback Valley area.

A small ma-pa phở shop with about enough seating for approximately 24 people. The moment you park you can see the whole entire dining area from the lot. Pricing is pretty fair and food is good for not being a stone’s throw away from OC. Service: Casual restaurant with very sweet service from the owners(I am guessing husband and wife). Food arrived swiftly. Food: Combination phở:(sm) It was flavorful and filling. Pretty good serving for under $ 6. The vegetable sides were a bit sparse(compared to other oc phở places) but still enough to fill the bowl. They also ran out of meatballs for the evening and that was a slight bummer. Beef rice plate: While tasty, this dish left my dining guest hungry. What you need to know: — DoorDash app picks up delivery from many restaurants and Phở Sapa is one of them — Unilocal checkin gives you $ 1 milk tea or thai tea — Happy Hour 2pm-5pm daily. Specials include dishes for $ 4.99 and boba drinks for $ 1.99 — Not a date night type of place — Take out is popular here

Very good phở rare steak and Thai iced tea! It’s my first time here, I will definitely be back. The broth is very good and the steak is quite good. They have a happy hour from 2−5pm dine in only. The Unilocal offer of a $ 1 milk tea or Thai iced tea does not come with boba :(

By the looks of the restaurant you wouldn’t anticipate the the food to be anything great. The restaurant is on the small side, with about six tables that seat four. I did have to wait until my meal was just about finished to receive a refill on my water and extra napkins. The rare steak Phở was delicious! Although, I am completely against anything rare or raw, I find that the rare steak has considerably less fat than the well done steak– it cooks well done too. Milk tea has never been a favorite of mine but this drink was tasty, I find that most places make them way too strong and bitter for my liking.

Hey, thanks people on Unilocal.I’ve been looking for an authentic, reasonably priced Vietnamese restaurant down in this area. The restaurant itself is very small, about six 4-person tables, and seems to be a mom-and-pop operation. Their menu is pretty varied and has standard phở, com and bun dishes. The prices are typical for comparable restaurants. The food itself was a decent amount and as good as the same thing in Westminster. I had the grilled pork, shrimp, and egg roll vermicelli. Everything had a nice char to it and was well seasoned. Egg rolls were crisp and filling. They have a large(non alcoholic) drink menu, with typical Vietnamese coffee, lemonade, and boba drinks. I tried the«Hawai Passion,» which was incredibly sweet and had jelly and boba stacked on top. It was crazy sweet, but hit the dessert requirement.

What a surprise!!! The place doesn’t look it would be that good. Looks like the previous establishment might a a taqueria. Really small place, seats approx 20 people(seven tables) but the food is so freaking good. I would rate the phở broth to be top 5 I have ever had and I have eaten phở at numerous places. The quality of the ingredients was very good. Also had the bo luc lac and chicken fried rice. SOYUMMY!!! Learned my lesson, never judge a book by it’s cover.

Small phở restaurant hidden in Lake Forest. I read some Unilocal reviews saying that this place is BETTER than the Phở in Westminister, so I had to try it. We did the Unilocal check in and got the $ 1 milk tea. The tea was SOO yummy! You can actually taste the tea flavor. I got my go to Phở order. I always get the Phở Dac Biet(special). The more ingredients the better. The meatball tasted fresh not like the frozen ones. The soup tasted clean and tasty. Not oily. It had a really good flavor. Brisket was tender. The servers were all nice and smiley. Would definitely be back and I agree with my fellow Unilocalers. Definitely comparable to Westminister. Happy Phoing!
