Sycamore One Hour Cleaners

This past weekend we were in a crunch when my husband realized the night before a wedding we were attending, that his «go to» suite was not clean.
We searched and found this place which according to the name of the business could help us! Well in fact they do not do one hour dry cleaning or even same day dry cleaning! They were not very surprised by our frustration with the name and acted as if we should have known better. If you find yourself in need of fast dry cleaning keep searching.

Sycamore Cleaners (1-​Hour Cleaners) is awesome! Their customer service is fantastic. Owned and operated by a great husband and wife (and their daughter is very helpful also!), they are very accommodating — setting convenient hours, helping you out to your car, working with you on pricing for a large item are just two of things that separates this cleaners from their competition. They don’t offer coupons, which has made this customer a little antsy, since I am used to seeing coupons and ads for my cleaners. They are price-​competitive though, and they are willing to make sure you feel you are getting a good deal. I have gone to my fair share of dry cleaners in the area, and have never been fully satisfied with them. When I found this place (which ironically is the closest one to my house), I see myself staying here for a very long time.
I feel fortunate I have found them and more fortunate that I can recommend them without reservation!

My wife has been using Sycamore 1-​hr Cleaners for years now on a regular basis, and has had nothing but wonderful experiences with them. I don’t know the owners’ names, but they never forget me and my wife. They are a small family owned dry cleaning/​tailoring business. I really enjoy the customer service, the professionalism, the kind atmosphere, and their eagerness to please their loyal customers. My wife says she feels like a celebrity when she walks in because everyone knows her name. :) They do wonderful work, and the prices are right. I just dropped off a sports jersey needing some patches attached, no problem. I’ll pick it up tomorrow. I just felt I had to write a review because they always make us feel so welcomed, and we always know that our property is in good hands with them!

I brought my wedding dress to Sycamore Dry Cleaners and was very impressed with the work they did. The dress was filthy, filled with dirt and sand, and very very delicate with intricate lace and beading details. It came back looking brand new! The lovely couple that runs the place is so sweet and friendly it makes the whole experience 5-​stars.

This wonderful family has been doing my dry cleaning, shirt laundry, and alterations since I moved to LF 3 years ago. They remember my name and how I like my shirts done. The have never lost anything, and always have things ready when they promise.
Parking can be rough in the busy Stater Brothers lot, but it is worth it to be treated so well.

Very, very nice people. They are generally pretty quick with my dry cleaning. I bring in uniforms and they have them done in two days. Have never had one problem with them. Service is impeccable. Only reason I did not give them five stars is because they are a little pricey. Still, very reliable, extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

These folks have consistently done a fantastic job for my wife and I. We take all of our dry cleaning to them, and they never fail to have it done well and on time, and they are always friendly and reasonably priced. I would be shocked if the ramblings of «Puddy Tat C.» are accurate.

I went in on a Tuesday to get 2 pairs of jeans hemmed: a nice pair of designer jeans and a cheapie pair of skinny jeans. The lady measured me for both pairs and was quite nice.
My jeans were ready on Saturday. The hem job on both seemed to be fine, and the man was super nice and chatty when I picked up my order.
I had to deduct points because my designer jeans are a little too long still. I thought that’s why she measured me! I’m not complaining too much, since it’s WAY better that they’re a little long (hopefully they will shrink a centimeter in the wash) than too short, as has happened to me with numerous tailors (may you rest in peace, all you wasted pairs of designer jeans).
Also, I used to have a tailor in Lake Forest who would do original hem for $ 7/​pair, and Sycamore charges $ 10/​pair. Maybe that was awhile ago and I need to account for inflation and the like, but I can’t help but miss my old, cheap tailor.

. In her tact she says now that possibly I did not in fact have a purple shirt to which she has the picture right in front of her.
She basically was calling me a liar and things became heated because not only did they loose a shirt they destroyed my pants and now dare to insinuate that it’s my imagination.
In the end her husband tries to make peace by saying I will pay you $ 13.00 how about $ 20.00 ok OK $ 30.00. What would you do?
I told him no thank you — I will be taking out an ad in the local paper and sharing my story with everyone in the area to which he saying no paper, NO PAPER, as I walked out the door!
So if you like paying for someone to abuse you then this is the S&M of Dry Cleaners!!! They will lose or damage your clothing and then blame you or the manufacture for their mistakes and call you names the whole way!
