Got some tarts for a fancy picnic I had at Yerkes Observatory. They were so good and so reasonably priced. When I paid I thought she accidentally only charged me for one. The fruit was amazing and so was the filling and crust. They have great donuts but I recommend trying some of the other baked goods.

I stopped by Bittner’s based on the Unilocal reviews and I was NOT disappointed! Their donuts are amazing! We also bought some of their cookies. So good… IF that wasn’t enough, the ladies who were working were so sweet and funny! Very good customer service! Definitely worth the 30 minute drive that I took, passing up 2 other bakeries!

Bittner’s Bakery is my weakness and addiction. Their butter cookie assortment gets me every time. Then, the delectable hand crafted desserts like the gourmet cupcakes and cannoli are out of this world. The cakes? I can’t even tell you about their cakes without wanting to run there with a fork as they are the best and most agonizingly beautifully prepared masterpieces that have graced my tastebuds.
Besides their tasty treats the girls that work their and the owners are all amazing. They all know be by name and call me when my favorites are in. It is nice to be treated like family by a family establishment. I’ve been to other bakeries that have good stuff but this bakery has the best treats and the best staff. You must forget about any other places you have gone and visit Amy and her staff. Oh, and call ahead to see if they have a maple bacon donut. Your tastebuds and future addiction can thank me later.

Highly recommended for wedding. We had 3 cake tiers and some additional desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the cake was beautiful (and bigger than I expected!) We added some gluten-​free cupcakes that were forgotten in initial delivery, but a quick phone call got them to the reception in plenty of time. Thanks, Amy!

Really great local bakery, I wish we had good bakeries in Saint Louis Were I live but we do not! Everything is great and always good service, if you like something and want more you are best to order because I got some cinnamon rolls for my friends and they all wanted to take some home and we went but they were sold out!

I had another opportunity to order a custom cake from Bittner’s. Again, a winner! Moist, delicious, beautifully decorated. I love their friendly service here and their reasonable prices! I will be back.

Awesome! Ordered a decorated cake for a special event. It was perfect. The decorator took the time to do a logo free hand on the cake and she went above and beyond. I have ordered other things in the past and just gone in to pick up a special treat. Everything is always delicious. So glad you are back in town.

I have been going to this bakery since I was a little kid. The bakery is fantastic and they have awesome coffee cakes (especially the peach) cookies, donuts and cupcakes.

This place was charming. If I had a bakery id love the inside of this one. Filled with inspirational quotes, frills, and delicious. I’m in.

This bakery does from the common to the unique. You just can’t go wrong stopping here for you party needs. So good it is difficult to stop eating their pastries.

Chocolate frosting on the donut was good but the cake part was a little oily, even for a donut. The taste of the bearclaw was also overwhelmed with grease.

Bittners is back! It’s great to have an honest bakery in Lake Geneva again, and this is the place. Try to come early, they tend to run out of their tastiest items.

So glad to see Bittner’s has finally returned! The new space is charming with great personal touches. Instead of being located in the main downtown intersection, the new location is housed within the strip mall adjacent to the Shell gas station on the north side of town. The selection is even more abundant than I remember from childhood — many new modern twists fill the cases. Definitely try their lemon meringue cupcakes and the chocolate dipped cannoli! Prices are extremely reasonable and the quality surpasses anything else you might get in the area. Great work, Bittner family. Lake Geneva is fortunate to have your establishment!

Good old Bittner’s Bakery! My childhood favorite has been revived by the son and daughter-​in-​law of the original owners. Located slightly out of town, attached to a gas station, this place is worth the stop. Brownies are as good as I remember. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town to see if everything is as good as I remember. They also now have soup and coffee. Hope they have some yummy kringle!
