Library is awesome, but for GODS SAKE PLEASE force the police to enforce littering laws on weekends! The scumbags who come up here from IL trash the library park and adjacent areas, then leave w/​o cleaning up their own stuff. PIGS! Tiecket them, then ban them from the parks and library grounds!

Huge frank Lloyd right (left) fan. One of his students designed the library and it sits on land donated by some wealthy lake person over a hundred years ago. Pretty cool. They can never develop the land surrounding this place and from inside you can chill with a book or magazine and get a great view of the lake. I especially like it when a big storm is coming across the lake. Quite cool.
Great place for a nap too
Tip: While lake G is little Chicago in summer it’s got a farmers market in season that’s pretty good.

Lake Geneva, WI
First off, this building has a wonderful view of the lake. This is a brilliant way to escape the heat from the beach to catch up on your reading on a sunny day or to get out of the rain or snow. The selection and staff are top notch.
