Out of the numerous places in downtown for dessert, this place made us want to keep coming back. The original décor and emblem gave the place an excellent aura. The two times we went I had mint chocolate chip and turtle. Each was very creamy and rich.

My kids love this place. You can’t go wrong with any of their flavors. Birthday Cake is my kids favorite.

Ice cream here is great! We’ve been twice. Just wish the girl that worked there wasn’t so snotty. She was rude to us as well as her co-worker.

I was in Lake Geneva with my family and we had gotten ice cream at another spot down the road and my little brother desperately needed a napkin while we were walking down the street. We were right outside of Scoops and just told him to bop in and grab a few napkins. As he was walking in, some gentleman(whom I assume to be the owner) sitting outside the door asked him what we needed and my little brother responded«just some napkins.» The gentleman then proceeded to tell my brother he was not allowed in the store as the napkins were for paying customers only. Any adult who turns away a 10 yr old boy in need of napkins needs some help. Giving Lake Geneva a bad rep, in my opinion. Plenty of other ice cream spots available in downtown Lake Geneva.

They are located CLOSE to the beach, so you can always go on a hot day. Their flavors are sooo unique, turtle, fat Elvis, strawberry cheesecake, Zansibar, cappuccino oreo. Kids loved their choices. BUT being a single mom, it’s quite pricey! $ 3.95 for one scoop, $ 6 for a small shake. BUT their ice cream was yummy. Staff was a little too preoccupied visiting with each other & friends, they need to focus more on their customers.

Came yesterday. OMG. The best ice cream ever!!! Had ‘This $@#&% is getting serious’ flavor and Zansibar flavor. Beyond yummy. You can taste the best ingredients. There’s another location in Kenosha. I will hit that one too. Sooooo bleeping good.

Best ice cream in town by far! I tried the strawberry cheesecake on a waffle cone. Delicious. Credit cards are welcomed! You will come back for more

The best creamy ice cream, you will want to return for more! They DOTAKE credit cards, unlike previous comment. Great service. I had rocky road and it was full of nuts, so good I want more.

THEYDOTAKECREDITCARDS! This place is amazing!!! Don’t wast your money on the chain ice cream places like Kilwin’s. The ice cream at Scoops is genuine and make with real milk/cream. The best of all the flavors are really cool. Everything from the«fat elvis» to the«turtle» to the other 30 flavors that they have. All the mixes are amazing, with a combination of all the ingredients you would love in your ice cream. Everyone complains about the price, but you pay for what your get. In addition, a single scoop at this place is HUGE, definitely worth the $ 4. Also the staff is very helpful and friendly. This will be our new go to ice cream shop for the lake geneva area.

First time in lake geneva with the family and glad we ran into scoops. Ice cream was awesome thick and creamy much like cold stone but much cheaper. We ordered the ZOREO flavor and wanted more after finishing. Scoops is a must visit in lake Geneva!

I really expected more at what, $ 4+ a scoop or whatever it was. Look, I love ice cream. I’m borderline an ice cream snob. I make my own. I can still go out for ice cream though but my standards could be seen as too high. Either way… We saw some ladies walking around with ice cream from here and it looked fabulous. Well… hmph. Folks were pleasant enough-ish behind the counter, but certainly not overly so. The shop isn’t super fancy or anything — similar to a 31 Flavors of days yore with the fluorescent lights, old industrial tile floor, tired white metal dipping cases. I expected an interesting variety of interesting(but not snotty) flavors, but it was pretty run of the mill. Lots of neon artificial colors which was a turn off. I don’t remember what we got but the flavors weren’t strong, it was kinda icy, and the quality wasn’t what I was expecting. Too much air, milky vs. creamy. For $ 4, I expected super creamy, full flavor, lots of goodies per bite. Next time we’ll just skip the scoop and buy a pint somewhere else.

The ice cream is delicious. The people working here are very pleasant and more than fair on their scoop sizes. If paying $ 1 more to enjoy ice cream while walking along the lake is an obscene expense, go to the DQ up the street, which is not even walking distance to the lake.

Great little ice cream shoppe, with unique flavors. I had the fat Elvis(banana flavored ice cream, peanut butter, and chocolate), which was pretty good. Did not get a waffle cone. Reasonable price and friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try another flavor.

I don’t know when they switched but for years I would not compare this to Kilwin’s and they serve a very good ice cream by the Chocolate Shoppe the sign with the standing cow. My grandson loved his superman ice cream and they others enjoyed fresh squeezed lemonade.

Scoops Ice Cream & Deli advertised 40 flavors of ice cream! However, when we entered to check them out, it seemed they really only had a few and just made different mixes of them… and everything was something like chunky monkey or moose tracks… I really wanted a fruit ice cream like raspberry, orange, pear, or even simple lemon! Yet everything was all this really heavy creamy stuff. I guess this is Wisconsin so probably this is what’s popular… I think I’ve been outside of the US too long and got too used to gelato!

Expensive. I am not cheap, but this place is pathetic. I recommend going elsewhere. Ice cream was good, but will not go back.

Simply step in, select a cone or cup and fill it with some ice cream! My daughter loved the blue moon flavor and so did I. Plenty of choices in the freezers, so don’t hesitate to ask for a sample!

Like everything else in Lake Geneva it was unnecessarily expensive. $ 5 for a two scoop vanilla with butterscotch cup of ice cream.
