Depe Dene Resort

After check in, I walked in the cabin and it smelled like cat piss! The rugs are dirty crusty & stained. The shades are all broken missing pieces or just plain don’t fit the window. We had no privacy & people walk by all day long. Then I go in the bedrooms check the mattresses and the blankets underneath are stained. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable & have noisy springs. I had fly paper hanging from the ceiling in the living room. House flies everywhere. Then you go to take a shower & the towels smelled nasty! They aren’t white so they probably don’t bleach them. The bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly when brushing your teeth. The door knob to the hotel is loose and almost fell off when I pulled it shut to lock it. I could deal with the outdated cabins but the smell, no privacy, uncomfortable mattresses & the condition of the carpets and the dirtiness is unacceptable! Definitely will not be back! Not worth the $ 500 dollars for 2 nights!

Dirty, old, small cabin. Not only were the rooms small, and they smelled, the cabin also had over 50 flies in it. Would recommend for people who aren’t picky and enjoy the cabin life. I would give it ½ star if I could.

If we could leave 10 stars we would! 6^th year staying here. Love the friendly staff Tessa is our girl :)

Rustic charming cabins. The owner and staff goes above and beyond to make sure we have a great week every time and our comfort is a priority to them.

Free luau /​beach party, s’mores night, pizza party & camp depe dene every week in summer!
Ask about their other business adventure racing? Our daughter won a free pass for bumper cars and go karts during the scavenger hunt & hula hoop contest.

it was a perfect resort for our short vacay. It has a heated pool, lake, volleyball, pingpong and basketball that we enjoy. We didn’t have to go out of the resort for 2 days .The picnic area is very relaxing and the view was just awesome! Will deff go back here and would recommend to others. And they let us check in earlier and let us stay a little bit later than our check in and check out time.

we stayed here for the first time last year, 2 bedroom, living room small kitchen and a deck. room was clean, beach was clean people were nice would go back again.

Great place. We’ve stayed here 11 years in a row and not ready to stop anytime soon!
