Very cute motel. The pool was very relaxing! The rooms were good size. The beds were average for motels. My biggest complaint is the big spot light outside of room 12. Get rid of it and put the lights outside the rooms on sensors or timers. I felt like the sun was on all night from that spotlight! Looking forward to our next stay!

I don’t know if this is true. But here’s what I imagine the history of this place to be: Built circa 1940 – 50. Family owned and operated for decades as a great place on a low budget Lake George area visit. Nice pool for families. Great location near the hiking of the forest and the restaurants of the nearby small town. Just off highway. As the town grew more hotels and motels opened up. The family sold to someone else. Who didn’t do much upkeep or renovations for another decade or more. Just took the cash out of the place. Then came the current owners. A family of immigrants. Perhaps India or Pakistan, but I’m not positive of that. Based more on my experiences at other motels across the country that all seem to be owned by Indian families. My checkin was smooth, easy and thorough. — They painted and cleaned up the rooms. — Got the AC working I bet. — Put flat screens in the rooms. — Bought new linens. — Probably repainted the parking lines. — Spruced up the pool area a little. — Put in great fresh flowers around for landscaping. — Great price for my last minute res. — Free strong wifi. Now for the areas they could probably work on. — My room didn’t have an extra lock on the door, no bolt or chain. I would’ve liked one. — The mattresses are from 1940, when the place was first built. If they are not, they feel like they are. Need new ones. Or at least some sort of very good mattress toppers. Neutral: — Old fashioned keys. Real ones. — Don’t take Amex, but do take credit. At the low price I’m giving them a pass on this one. If you are planning to stay in the area you will have a million choices. Rt 9 is unending hotels and motels. This is a very cost effective choice. I’d stay here again. And if they put better mattresses in it’ll be 5 stars.

Not the greatest in Lake George but definitely worth every penny spent. Hassle free check in and out. The room i stayed at had a decent size balcony with table and chairs. The attendants were accommodating and friendly. The room size is big plus its had tv, microwave, fridge and a regular size couch. Great price for the room!!!

The pros: friendly staff, clean room. TV reception came in clear, and plenty of channels. They have a community microwave and ice machine. The cons: there is no assigned parking, and I had to park on the other side of the lot. There is a space under the air conditioner so bugs kept getting in. That bed(#8) was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I could see the springs through the sheet. I woke up in pain every day. They offer WiFi but the signal was so bad I was unable to make use of my laptop. Its a cute motel, but they need to do some more updates(especially the beds).

So adorable. Property is very well kept. Our room was recently remodeled but wish they had put in more outlets. Our room also did not have a full body mirror which want major but always nice to have. Water pressure is a little weak in shower. Everyone at the front desk were nice, polite and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is nice for the price. The rooms are very clean and the people who work here are very pleasant. There is a pool but not heated, so is very cold. Off the beat and path of the Lake George traffic. Can catch the trolley into town.
