On FRIDAY April 22, 2016 I turned my A/C on and it was blowing hot air. I called Fayette Air Conditioning service in the morning and they dispatched a technician within 2 hours. Brian arrived and discovered that our wifi thermostat had defaulted to an improper code which caused the A/C unit to not function properly. He then inspected the entire A/C unit and verified that everything was in good condition. Brian was very polite, professional and definitely knowledgeable, but most importantly HONEST. So whenever I or my friends need A/C service it will be a quick call to Fayette.

Last night at 9:00, my wife said«Do you realize it’s 83 in here?» The A/C was blowing hot air! I called Fayette & we agreed it wouldn’t get dangerous overnight. Brian, the tech I spoke to, said he would be in the office at 7:00, next morning. I called at 7:02, and he had already told the lady who answered the phone about us! They got here at 7:20! and had us back up by 8:00!!!(Only a starting capacitor on the compressor). Yea, Fayette A/C & Sheet Metal!

Started trying to get an older unit repaired. Went to Fayette because we were recommended by a «friend» that they wouldn’t just say to buy a whole new unit. Tech advised replacement and said to get a whole new unit but it was working on and off at the time. Of course, had to pay a minimum service charge anyway just to say get a new AC. Contacted both Sears and Home Depot to get a price on either a repair or maybe we could afford to replace the HVAC if the price was reasonable. Both wanted to send someone to try for the hard sell instead of giving me a price but finally got that at least ten grand from Sears. I went back to Fayette and said maybe I do need a new unit. How much? Three months later and I still need for an AC unit that will work. Good thing we started this when it was cooler. I repaired the swamper so at least it kinda cooled it down. Asked Fayette AGAIN for the price. Had a friend from California bring a condenser out that he got new and inexpensive that he would install for $ 1500 and give me a five year warranty. While installing the tech noted that the condenser/relay was bad on my existing unit. $ 50 part and an easy fix!!! I am still waiting on that price from Fayette for a whole new system!!! I did go ahead and let the tech from Cali install the new condenser since he was able to determine the real problem and he came all the way with the unit. Since I went ahead and installed the new $ 1500 unit from Cali the tech replaced the condenser/relay for free!!! Works great now. I will advise if I ever do receive the quote for an AC from Fayette that I never really needed if they correctly diagnosed the problem to start with.
