Just received a whole house generator(560 lbs.) Inspected as best I could before having the UPS guy put it in the pickup(he couldn’t come up the driveway).After going through everything the next day, I’m missing pieces of the housing unit. Called Norwall and they were as unhelpful and uncooperative as they could be. Once they get your money, they don’t care. Called Generac and they were interested in my experience. This isn’t finished so we’ll see if someone at Norwall decides it’s in their best interest to have satisfied customers.

Trying to get a refund from them through PayPal after they cancelled my order and it is turning into a nightmare. Very slow. Not happy at all when my $ 600.00 is sitting in limbo for nothing.

Horrible company! Do not buy from them, they charge a 20% restocking fee and you pay the freight cost to return to them. The b! tch I spoke with on the phone was a smart a$$ about it as well.

RUN run as fast as you can to another generator supplier! I have tried to get an replacment generator from this questonable company since October and have had nothing but the runaround from them, they do not care about you once the check/card has cleared. Yes I bought a generator from them and inspected it when it arrived, this being my first generator i looked as close as I could to it after opening the box(which showed no obvious damage), while the freight truck was there, not seeing any obvious damage while looking down at it I signed for it, it was late at night and I put the generator in the back to set it up in the morning, then when I took it out out of the box some plastic pieces fell out, they were from the air-cleaner housing that was broken, as I was down looking at the air cleaner location I noticed that the handle was pushed down on top of the gas tank and that the gas tank was dented. After contacting Norwell all they said was I should not have signed for it and basically they were done with me and that I should contact the freight company and not bother them again. If this is the way a company treats a customer that spends over a thousand dollars of hard earned money that they have to save to buy an item of this expence I feel sorry for them and can’t wait till I hear of their going out of business due to customer service. Bruce Kaplan California, USA UPDATE; I have received my full refund but it was not with out a fight, I still feel I should not have been treated the way I was, there is a new person in charge of the company and he did reach out to me to change my review, but I felt the review was accurate at the time it was written and should stay as a reminder that the number one thing a Business should always remember is customer service is your bread and butter, a happy customer will recommend you and an unhappy one will tell everyone how it is. I will add that they seem to be trying to improve their business relation and hope that if you try them they give you better service now then I got back then. BK
