First 3 months it worked fine, after that it has been hit and miss but mostly terrible service. i have had a tech come out now 4 times. and good luck calling ‘customer service’ damn joke. i got so upset my last call to them it took everything i had to not want to pull the nasty female dog of a women through the phone. i started off the conversation mild and even tempered. not 5 seconds in she is cutting me off, dilibrately putting me on hold like i wouldnt notice. asked me the same gdamn questions over and over again ‘on purpose’ DOINGEVERYTHINGSHECOULD for me to rage. of course after she tries having me wait 2 weeks for a service tech to come out, –YES. 2WEEKS.- i told her to keep her damn service and im canceling and going to the competitor along with 3 other accts, ALLTHESUDDEN, it was oh i have a guy that can come of course at the end of the day. its never earlier. they save there real issues and the customers feeding them until last. and all the new suckers for during the day. just another terrible business in this god forsaken town. in so sick of it. moving cannot come fast enough. We have spent more than a year enjoying the vast array of services provided with SUDDENLINK! There have been 4 visits since initial installation July 2013 to add more enhancements & each technician has been a joy to encounter. Of course we are more than satisfied with television options & reliability, constant internet & even the telemarketers can not thwart our confidence of the telephone services provided by Sudden Link. «You get what you pay for» & we have no apprehension of getting our moneys worth! Thanks to ALL of the staff & management of SUDDENLINK!

It is now almost 3 months since I got their internet«service». It is still not working properly and they just don’t seem to care. I’d switch to somebody else but I’m going home soon. You can be certain that I won’t use them when we come back next winter.

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. This company is absolutely ridiculous. When we first got our service in November of 2011 I had to call them 5 times to get our cable working. They came to our house twice and it still did not work! I thought they would stay until the problem was fixed but the tech said«wait for a while and see if it works then call if it doesn’t.» UH, OK. Great customer service. We(finally?) got cable working if you call the channels losing sound and freezing at random intervals working. My breaking point is right now. My family was getting ready to watch the Olympic Closing ceremonies and the cable completely went out. I tried calling tech support and sat on hold for 12 minutes when my call was DISCONNECTED! So what do I do, I call back and after another 15 minutes of holding a lady answers who says I have the wrong NUMBER. I said I was calling the number on my INVOICE that said to call for technical issues and she offerered to connect me to the«West Texas» call center where she promptly DISCONNECTEDME. I am so furious, this company is a serious joke. I am cancelling my cable tomorrow.

If you like your cable channels to freeze all day, and your cable internet to cut out constantly for $ 100 a month then you’ll love these clowns; I personally don’t. NPG was at least reliable. Boo suddenlink.

Using two tin cans and a string would be a better phone service than the one Suddenlink offers. They’re employees drop the ball, then some employee in Lake Havasu office moans to me that it’s going to be hard for her to correct their own error. And the automated phone service is the worst, you do not even have a chance of talking to anyone for at least 10 min. when they are not busy. The internet dropping, please it’s a joke, there is more consistency in being dropped that not being dropped. Yet they want top dollar for there service.

I needed a new remote control for my cable box. After finally getting through a maze of «push 10, if you were born on a Tuesday,» I finally reached someone in Texas. She told me that she handled the east end of the U. S, so she would transfer me to the west end call center. She then sent me back into automated call hell. After pushing dozens of numbers, I finally got another live person. She then transferred me to Technical Support. «Phew,» I thought, finally someone who could help me… I asked the gentleman to have a new remote sent to my house(a simple request, I thought). Unfortunately, he explained, Suddenlink will not send out the remote. Huh??? He said that I would have to go to the local office and buy one… I explained that I am only in LHC on occasional weekends(this is a vacation home) and the local Suddenlink office is closed on weekends. I asked again to PLEASE just send it out and I offered to pay for the postage. He told me that my only alternative was to pay a $ 40 service fee, on top of the cost of the remote, to have a tech deliver it to my house on the weekend. For Pete’s sake! Just mail me a new remote, I will gladly pay for it! «No,» was the answer from Suddenlink. With little alternative, I took a day off work and headed out to LHC last Friday, so I could pick up the stupid remote at Suddenlink. I paid my $ 15 and got on with my life. I pay this company $ 77 a month for cable tv that I only use a couple of days per month. You would think that the least they could do is drop a replacement remote control in the mail for me. The only reason this is a two star review, not a one star review, is that the local office took care of me quickly and the clerk was friendly and courteous. I suspect that is because she is a former NPG Cable employee who has not yet been fully poisoned by the Suddenlink Cable Empire!

Sudden Link just bought out NPG Cable. This company is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked with — EVER. While watching TV, our sound goes in and out, the picture is often pixilated, the DVR function doesn’t record all of the shows, and the internet keeps dropping out for no apparent reason. I tried calling them up and ALL of the numbers listed on their website do not work. ALLOFTHEM! How is that even possible? Their sales number, service number, customer service number, business advertising numbers… nothing works. There’s a «live chat» button. I click on that, and I’ve been waiting for nearly 3 hours for a live person to come on. A person by the name of «Mary R» popped in, asked what my issue was. I told her that they have terrible service and I need a working telephone number, and guess what? She disconnected me from the chat feature. So I click on a «email us» link, which I have been waiting for DAYS for someone to call me. How the hell do you get a hold of these people. I bet if I stopped paying my bill, they’d call me in a heart beat. This is so ridiculous. I ready to take all of these boxes and throw them out of the window and get a different service. If there were NEGATIVESTARS, I would rate it lower than a «1 star». This company is HORRIBLE. If anyone reading this has a choice, stay away. Go with a different company. Choose satellite or another service. By the way, as I was looking up their phone number online, I read a ton of additional customer complaints they have. Clearly they do not care one bit about customer service.
