Half the bar smelt of a urinal where we were sitting. A beer was spilt all over us, We were then talked about by all the employees the rest of the night within earshot of us. Owner wasn’t helpful with situation Wish i could give zero stars. Not a women friendly place. I felt unsafe.

My kinda place! Been coming for years, waitresses aunt afraid to tell you to shut the fuck up and throw you the fuck out. Basic bar food. Cheap booze goode. bands. It’s a dive bar but a good one.

Awesome place!!! Food is fantastic. Definitely recommend the burgers you’ll never be dissapointed. And the fish and chips are to die for (battered to order) staff is friendly and the owner is top notch! A must try if you are in the area!

McKenna’s is a gem of a pub/eatery/local joint. There’s something for everyone here; from darts to pool, local sports on T.V. to the TouchTunes Jukebox — not to mention the spectacular food and awesome bar tenders — you will feel right at home at this Lake Hopatcong hangout. If you’re a local, come on by (you’re probably here already, anyway.) If you’re a McKenna’s newbie, come on by! Be sure to ask Jenn for her infamous «Skittles» drink and ask Kim for one of her refreshing «007s.» See you around the bar! Cheers.

On groupon it showed beautiful pixtures, we got there and it was a ordinary pub. Pool table was there but I went with my family (2 young kids). I called before hand to see if it was a family oriented place and the sweet lady said yes. It wasnt. It reeked of smoke and alcohol (should have known). Regardless of all of this, the food took about 45 minutes to come out but it was delivious! Mac and cheese qas PERFECTTT! FISH N CHIPS was also a delight :). Next time will probably take out. The lady with blonde hair was a doll! 4 starts because of her and the food.

What a pleasant surprise! The Stout burger was ginormous and excellent. My English husband thought the fish and chips with hand made batter superb. Try the Blue Pointe Lager. We’ll be back! :-)

Totally amazing food! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS HAMBURGER! I have very literally never seen a sandwich this big! Great prices! Wow!!! Very neighborhood pub type place. Country music (always a plus to me!). Obviously, the owner cares about his customers. Everyone here seems happy, they are obviously repeating their visits and the food is incredible… so…so will we! Booya! New favorite place!

GREAT LOCAL PUB… went there in october and what a good crowd for the winter/fall season… had a burger and def. was one of the best i ever had… met bobby the owner and he couldn’t have been more friendlier and made you feel right at home… you can tell it’s local crowd that hangs out there but i allways find the locals interesting… good stories! guiness was really COLD! when i get up that way again, i will def. L be stopping back again to try some other items on the menu… from what they told me, be careful of the cops patrolling… def. get a desi! thumbs UP
