Where to begin? How about this: Seth is a BEAST! I first got into contact with Seth in March of 2012. I was running my second marathon(Chicago) under an organization called Action For Healthy Kids. Seth works with them in many ways and more specifically tailoring training plans for their runners. Hey, that’s me! I was excited to be running alongside Dean Karnazes that year. I contacted Seth for a training plan and he was more than quick to respond with a detailed questionnaire about my past fitness, nutrition and athletic endeavors. After filling it out I received an 18-week program that was just what I was looking for. –Kopf Running provided me with not one but two potential marathon training plans tailored to my specific needs and concerns about running a marathon. I was able to maintain weight/interval/resistance training while keeping a nice running schedule. Few regimens are made specific to one’s needs. This did not disappoint! –Seth’s weekly(and sometimes 2−3x’s a week) «Training Tips» newsletters were very motivating. We all have busy schedules but being reminded of our commitment and training was important to me. 19 newsletters. All different advice and info. Very exciting to be able to have the knowledge in my inbox regularly. It seemed to show up more times that not right when I needed that extra little motivation to get out there and grunt out my work for the day. When race day came I felt more prepared and calm than I had in years past… including non-race events. –Kopf Running not only sent out mass emails but Seth responded to my emails promptly answering all of my questions and made sure I was taken care of. What a rock star! –I think the most valuable thing Kopf Running has to offer is their drive and ambition in providing detailed consultation and diligence to all athletes of all levels while challenging them to get their best results possible. I’m so confident in the organization that I’ve recommended my sister to them for her first marathon next fall!
