Great place. First time here and the staff was super friendly. Food was good, would definitely come back. The ambience was great not crowded and the music they were playing was awesome 50s 60s music!

The food was better before they changed names. The décor is nicer now, and the much higher prices reflect that. They dropped some of the better foods in favor of «trendy» stuff.

I went there for lunch, and I was served one of the worst Reuben sandwiches I’ve ever had. Extremely fatty. Very soggy. Also, our waiter was completely unfriendly. Perhaps he was having a bad day, but it was very obvious to all of us. I’ve had better luck with their dinner items.

Such a classy place. Co-worker and I hit this place for lunch, based on his comments on the place. The staff is very friendly and outgoing and the food is presented very well and tastes so very good!!!

I order the Shrimp Brochette pasta, and it was possibly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The noodles were soggy, and the pasta sauce had more oil than it did flavor. The staff was great and the in house magician was very entertaining but, unfortunately those things alone will not bring me back.

This place sucks. Unilocal was wrong. Got the chicken fried NY steak strip with green beans and mashed potatoes. The potatoes and green beans were so cold. This was definitely not the best NY strip chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. The coconut shrimp appetizer was below par. The waiter was pretty much non-existent. The place claims to be a «fine dining experience». What a joke. My favorite thing I had was the butter that came with the free bread. I am now at The Local, down the street to redeem my dining experience for tonight. No stars.

Came for breakfast. Shrimp and gits was a little watered down but excellent flavor. Staff was great and the place looks cool. I might need another meal here before I can say either way.

My wife and I went here last night. Easy 5 stars from the food, the atmosphere, and the service. I can’t believe we hadn’t been here before. Best place I’ve been to yet in Lake Jackson, and we go out to eat quite often. I had the salmon and my wife the mahi tacos. Her tacos were a pretty spicy but not overbearing. Keep that in mind if you don’t like spicy. My salmon(I believe it was the chef’s salmon) was perfect. From the sauce to the salmon itself and the rice and veggies. We also had a bottle of 14 Hands wine. It was delicious and only $ 20 for the bottle. It was a very positive experience. I can’t remember the last time I’ve had such a good experience at a restaurant all around.

This place ISSOOGOOOOD! I’m hungry just thinking back to it! I had the lunch house penne! I HIGHLY recommend it! It isn’t toooo small nor too big it’s the perfect about of food. The chicken is so rich and delicious it has the beautiful smoked wood taste. The cream was so delicious and perfectly cooked. Everything was perfect! The food came out ASAP! it was perfect! The waiter, carlos, was very quick to refill drinks and bring fresh bread!

I took my wife here for a more romantic dinner. We were not disappointed. The salads we had were fresh and the dressing — delicious. I had the Ahi tuna and my wife had the Salmon. Both were cooked to perfection, and the fish were fresh(nothing worse than fish that isn’t fresh!). Our waiter was sharp and attentive. To top the evening off, I had the Crème Brule and my wife — the chocolate cake. The Crème Brûlée was delicious with the crunchy top and gooey goodness beneath! The cake was moist and delicious. This is a great place for a quite romantic evening.

First time eating here and trying to experience all of the different restaurants LJ has to offer. It was nice to be able to make a reservation although not actually needed on sat night. Waitress was good although we never got any water refills. Wine portion was tiny, not sure if it even was 4 oz. calamari and coconut shrimp appetizers were both very good and hot. Entrees were all good including the pollo 24 and red snapper. Chicken fried steak was a little chewy and soggy. The reason for only 3 stars is that good restaurants refill water glasses and certainly don’t run the vacuum cleaner all around the restaurant when it’s busy with customers at 830. If you must clean during service hours, Get a sweeper, it’s much quieter and less intrusive.

I had an amazing experience at table 24. Carlos, our server was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. He even gave us a free dessert. We had mussels for an appetizer that were absolutely amazing. Dave had a steak mom had mahi tacos and I had a grilled chicken with goat cheese and mashed potatoes. I will be back to this cute little fine dining establishment.

The half and half is awesome. I love the chicken salad and the corn chowder today is great!!! 12÷17÷15: We had a lunch meeting at the office today and wanted something special. We had special guests joining us and we were celebrating a teammate’s college degree. I called Table 24 and spoke with Abrahan, told him what I had in mind and he made it happen. The portions were, as always, generous. The food was still piping hot when it was delivered. We ordered Chicken Fettuccine, Pollo 24(my fav), and a garden salad. We had twice as much food as we needed and we deliberately under ordered. My meal was fantabulous. We have had Abrahan cater for us prior to this and he has been wonderful to work with each time!

Having grown up in the Lake Jackson area, I’m happy to see there be more choices to eat when I visit home. This is a place I’m really glad has established itself in the heart of downtown. I was trying to find a place to take my dad for dinner to celebrate his birthday(a little late). Of course I had to turn to Unilocal!when our go-to place was not an option for him this night. We had a party of 7, so I decided to make reservations, something unheard of for LJ restaurants in my days growing up there! We arrived a few minutes before and were seated right away. There wasn’t much of a crowd, but it was nice to already have a table ready for us. The inside is very nicely done. There is a bar with a TV. The dining room area is long, not wide, but with nice space to walk to your table. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful with the menu. We ordered some calamari to start things off. Very tasty! I was worried when a large group of high school girls came in all dressed up for homecoming that it was going to be too loud. They eventually quieted down so it was a peaceful meal. The food was very tasty. I ordered a chicken fried steak and it was HUGE! My wife ordered the meatloaf, and she didn’t really like it, but I think it was because of the sauce. I ate some snd loved it. My dad had a sirloin that he said was very good(and he’s picky about his steak). My brother ate the Pollo 24 and said it was very tasty. One reason I picked this place was there was tres leches cake on the menu(one of dad’s favs), so we ordered some with some coffee for dessert. So good! Get ready to drop some cash. Our bill was over $ 200, but it was worth it! I would recommend this place to anyone and we will be back for sure!

Come here with high hopes. Left disappointed :( 1. Fairly certain the beef soup of the day was canned 2. Salad was not fresh and dressing was very runny 3. Cheesecake was terrible 4. Tuna salad sandwich was okay Hopefully the dinner menu is better

We really enjoyed the Wedding cake martini and table 24 martini! We got country fried asparagus with blue crab and hollandaise sauce for appetizer. I got the coconut shrimp and crab cake dinner, which came with citrus rice and grilled veggies. He got the Mahi Mahi fish tacos with Spanish rice and black beans. Our food was very fresh and tasty! Can’t complain– highly recommended!

Came here for a night out, and be warned — it is quite noisy, and I wouldn’t recommend for a first date. I started with the gumbo, which was swimming with seafood and had good flavor. I then had Pollo 24 and this was a huge disappointment. The description of grilled chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese was mouth watering, but my first bite was forgettable. The chicken was dry and overcooked. The sauce that covered the chicken was ok, and I now know why there was so much. The garlic mashed potatoes were good and the green beans were green beans… all was stacked on top of each other, and my guess is they were going for a high end presentation, but it just made everything mushy. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and it was a good burger. The fries were homemade and had a great crunch to them. I liked this restaurant better when it was café annice.

Our compliments to the Chef and our waitress. I had the special — Lobster Ravioli with Spinach and my husband had the Southern classic — Chicken Fried Steak. Both of them were clearly cooked with fresh ingredients and it tasted wonderful. Our appetizer was Calamari and I swear it was meant for 4 people. Do come hungry!

Great Waitress but terribly disappointed with the food and management which makes me sad because we were very much looking for a new 5 star dining experience since we moved from our old weekly date night establishment. We started off with the fried Calamari which came out beautifully displayed. It was unfortunate that it was bland and soggy since instead of serving a dipping sauce they poured the sauce into the plate and threw the calamari on top. The calamari was topped with bacon which sounded good in theory but the bacon was over cooked to the point that you couldn’t even tell it was bacon. For our meal, my husband ordered a burger and myself the triple chicken salad with a side of Tomato Basil soup. I started eating my salad, which tasted good enough, even though there was not enough dressing in the chicken salad and the chicken was a bit too dry, that was… until I got to my second scoop of chicken which turned out to be TUNA something that I am allergic too. Thankfully I caught it before swallowing it! I am not sure how they confused chicken salad with tuna salad but our dinner almost turned into a near death hospital visit. My soup was very thick with a hearty flavor that I don’t really expect from Basil tomato. There was no sweetness from the tomatoes which tasted a lot like canned tomatoes and the basil was not fresh basil as I got a nice dried crunchy piece of it in my mouth the first bite I took. And then there was my husbands burger, he bit into it and his jaw nearly hit the floor because ITWASRAW. I am not talking pink, he likes it pink, I am talking 100% RAW through and through. The burger had maybe been on the flames a few seconds at most, not nearly long enough to cook to rare little alone medium rare like he ordered it. I was simply in shock by the food at a restaurant claiming to provide an amazing dining experience. I was very happy with the atmosphere and the wonderful waitress. The management was another story, the restaurant manager was not even there and the kitchen manager wouldn’t even come and apologize himself for allowing uncooked and improperly plated food to come out. They comped the food but the only apology came from our waitress who was in no way at fault. At a place like this management is supposed to tend to these issues. Unfortunately we will not be going back.
