Excel Auto Glass uses OEM (Original Equipment Manufactured) adhesives that chemically link for your safety. When you need to file an insurance claim, just ask for Excel, or our expert customer service representative will assist you in this process. There is no cost to you when you have a full glass rider on your policy. We realize how important it is to be back on the road as soon as possible, so we have in-​shop timed appointments to get you in and out as quickly as possible allowing for the required adhesive cure time. Excel also offers mobile service to your home or workplace. Excel Auto Glass specializes in diagnostic services and side view mirrors.

Established in 1993.

Excel Auto Glass was founded by Scott and Lonna Owens. Scott has over 25 years experience in the auto glass industry and has taught many classes and trained numerous auto glass technicians over his career. Excel Auto Glass works for the consumer and not the insurance industry. We have built our local business on quality workmanship and superior customer service.

Business Owner

Scott Owens has over 25 years in the auto glass industry. He has been a master techinician for years, and has taught CE classes for Ford and held CE classes for the insurance industry. Scott started as an «installer» in the early 80’s in New Jersey. He was promoted to manager and ran his own store in Kingston, NY for several years before he decided to establish his own business. Excel Auto Glass has been serving Ulster County for over 20 years. Scott has spent many personal hours lobbying our state officials over the years promoting safety and consumer choice.
