Pizza 1905

I really do hate to leave a poor review for a place. However, I waited 45 minutes for a stromboli and an order of zeppole. I watched countless customers go in and out with their food before being served. I typically don’t mind waiting for food, especially if it’s as good as it’s chalked up to be, but I was on an hour lunch, which did not do me any favors. The stromboli would have been delicious had it been cooked thoroughly. Very doughy. No crunch. Which moves me to my main issue, very doughy and no crunch is what I expect FROM A ZEPPOLE! Also, being a nice Italian themed pizzeria, I assumed it would be stuffed with ricotta, I was wrong. They tasted like those little Chinese doughnuts you get at a buffet, very hard and crunchy, total turn off. Also, they didn’t even use powdered sugar! I really was so so so disappointed with everything. I understand they got busy and apparently were only working with one oven. I can get over the undercooked stromboli, but when I order zeppole, I expect a nice order of hot, deliciously doughy zeppole. I had ONE and pawned the rest off on my coworkers.

A bit hidden, never noticedit before. But had the lunch special two slices and drink $ 4.99.
It was really good, slices were like from 21 inch pie maube larger, ver tasty and crunchy thin slices. Will have to try a meatball sub next.

This is hands down my new fav pizza spot! I love their NY style pizza as I missed that from living up north. Their lunch special is a great deal and their slices are huge!

We are always willing to try different pizza places in the Lake Mary /​Orlando area so we decided to order from Pizza 1905 due to its high Unilocal ranking. Chose the «Godfather Grandma Pan Pizza». The total with delivery and a half dozen garlic knots was 28 $, which is way more than I would ever normally pay for a pizza. So, either the cashier rang it in wrong or they grossly overcharge for toppings. Pizza arrived lukewarm (negative) but was a large enough size that I did not think twice about the price. Really enjoyed the flavor and toppings appeared fresh. Probably will not order from 1905 again due to the price but was great to try something new. Maybe the thin slice is a better deal or the stuffed pizza. Would recommend anyone who is looking for something other than commercial pies in the LM area. In addition, they enter your CC for delivery at the door using an app on their phone.

We just gave this place a try for lunch, and omg was it awesome. The lunch special is so cheap. And the slices of pizza are huge. Like «need a second plate huge».
The staff is also incredibly personable.

We grew up in NY and know great pizza when we find it. Having lived in Lake Mary for 26 years, we’ve waited and waited (and waited) to find pizza in the Orlando area like you can get almost everywhere in New York.
The time has come. So glad to have you with us, Pizza 1905…

So glad to have found a non-​chain pizza place nearby. Great NY style pizza … delicious!

Finally a great NY style pizza spot in the Lake Mary area. Slices are perfect size, big enough to fold, thin, chewy crust and meat toppings are really good. I recommend trying the Bianca and the Brooklyn pies.

Great pizza — best New York style in Orlando I’ve had. Had the 5 dollar special and topped it off with Nutella dessert. Highly recommended

We recently moved to Lake Mary and have been on the hunt for some good (not chain-​based) pizza. I stumbled upon Pizza 1905 one day as I was shopping nearby and had their lunch special. They have fantastic, thin NY-​style pizza and the lunch special is a great deal.
As I work at home, I don’t get out for lunch much, but I have ordered takeout sandwiches from here a couple of times since. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed my meatball sub, though I will say I was a bit disappointed by the sausage, peppers and onions sandwich I had there just recently. It didn’t taste like real Italian sausage… more like something you’d get with breakfast at a Denny’s.
That said, I have enjoyed everything I’ve gotten so far and will definitely be back for lunch again. I’d love to order from here for family pizza night, but they’re a little pricey for that unfortunately. We’ll have to wait to see if they ever have coupons.

I’ve picked up pizza here two or three times, I’m a big fan of stuffed pizza and they make an excellent one. The price is a little high so we won’t have it that often.

I am happy I found another pizza place by my job, convenient and freah ingredients makes for a great lunch!

This pizza was worth breaking my gluten free diet for. It was so fresh and authentic, I believe it’s owned and operated by a New York family who owns the Italian eatery next door. And for my celiac daughter, I’ll bring her back once they get their gluten free crust going, they say it’s coming soon. WOW! And the dessert was incredible. We had the tiramisu and a cannoli.

I never judge a book by its cover, unless it’s a chain. This is the kind of hole in wall I’m happy to find. This small place hidden back in the corner was awesome! I do like it when I get Italian food and I hear the owner speaking Italian! My Italian «Sangwich» as the call it, was great! I will eat here every time I come back to Lake Mary!!!

If you live in the Lake Mary area you gotta check these guys out. Real NY style pizza, great prices and specials. They have a $ 4.99 lunch special that was way more food than I could eat. lol (and I can eat a lot). Owner is super nice as well. Made me feel like I was in NY getting my pie.

This place is by far the best pizza in Lake Mary. The owner is beyond friendly and we have ordered many times for the short time it has been open. It’s the closest pizza to NY style pizza and he ingredients are fresh!
