Been way too long 4 years since stopped here love the service and how they make u feel. Not rushed explaining the wine. Wine maker Christopher has done a wonderful job can’t wait to go to mystery dinner. The wine pairing with chocolate truffles. There is nothing to say. great Christmas gifts

We had sangria, pizza and a cheese plate. For four people, each having two glasses, the cost was under $ 50. We had a great experience.

My experience at this winery was mediocre at best. Yes, there is a view of the Lake but it would be partially blocked in the Spring and Summer by the trees, so I don’t consider it a selling point. The winery is located at the end of a pot hole filled winding street that is peppered with small worn down houses with cluttered lawns.
The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but they don’t understand wine very well and it took quite a bit of prodding for them to serve me something close to my taste. Unfortunately, it fell far from the mark. The wine was not to my taste at all. It was astringent and thin.
I should mention that I’ve taken numerous wine classes over the years, including Windows of the World. I’ve also spent time in Napa and Sonoma, as well as the wineries in Oregon.
The menu was sparse. It’s a bad sign when cheese whiz is on the menu. We had the hot artichoke and spinach dip with chips and it was good.
The environment was more like a café than a wine tasting room. There were two and four top tables and a flat screen TV with a fire burning, but no actual fireplace. The walls were painted a flower pot orange and there were small stickers of cats (huh?) on various places on the wall. I had hoped for something more relaxing but if you aren’t enjoying the wine, it doesn’t matter in the end.

3.5 stars with an extra bump because of friendly service. The wines were ok, and the setting was nice.

This is one of our goto places. Over the summer when you can sit outside we go at least once every 2 weeks, during the winter at least once a month.
The owners make you feel at home and so do their helpers. They have the standard cheese plates and other snacks to eat along with pizza and other stuff on special days. Check their website to see what is available any given day. In addition you are free to bring your own picnic with you.
Good wine, a beautiful view, a very friendly staff. A truly great place to spend the evening.

This winery is amazing. It’s set back and the sitting areas are amazing. They all look over the lake on the hill side. It’s so relaxing. The staff is so friendly and their wine is amazing. Hoping to get back here next summer for sure!

Beautiful scenery, warm and relaxing tasting room, and the friendliest owners you’re likely to find at a local winery. They know they’re stuff and they’re eager to share their knowledge, experience, and wine with you. The wine is very, very good… so much better than Mastropietro, seriously… and the staff takes the time to find out what you like and makes recommendations accordingly.
They do have some light food on site, but check their FB and website before you head out because they often host special dinners throughout the week. Not sure if you can always bring your own food in, but we called ahead about bringing snacks for a large group and they said it was fine… might not be a bad idea to call first, just to be sure.
Aside from the cozy tasting room, there’s a small deck, and then larger tiered patios where you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake. It’s not exactly the easiest place to find, but once you find it you’ll keep coming back.

This is a quirky little place, with friendly people, an amazing view over the water, and a selection of wines that changes frequently. It’s a favorite place to entertain friends, as you just feel comfortable the minute you walk in the door.
