Ulta Cosmetics

I am a beauty product junky and this is my favorite place to go to pick up any makeup item I need. they have it all! the staff is super nice and eager to help. their suggestions are very helpful and always spot on. I’ve never had a salon appointment at ulta, but the salon area looks super tidy and professional. when you’re in desperate need of any skincare, makeup, hair care item, etc. do not hesitate to stop at this ulta. you will not be disappointed!

I can’t say enough good things about the Salon at Ulta! I have been coming here for 3 years and I have always loved my hair when either Sonia or Kristi was done. The prices are on point with most higher end salons. They always listen to my concerns with color and do what needs to be done!

5 stars for the salon! These gals know what they’re doing. Two girls worked on me for the first time ever and let me tell you, they know what they’re doing! I asked for 1920’s or even 50s if need be, and they pulled through! Ashlei did my hair and makeup then had to leave before she could do some last final touches, then I believe Keena was her name, took over. And finished me! Very happy and will be back :) 5 stars for the salon!

Bad experience that got worse. If you want to feel like us have had your hair done at a beauty college make a appointment at Ulta on Baldwin and ask for Djuan. Stylist was more than15 late for the appointment, staff lied and said he was setting up, when he started doing my hair he Wanted to talk about his cell phone being off and him having to drive to Flint to pay on it. When the drying and styling process began, he didn’t have clippers (I have a mid length bob), burned me twice with the flat iron, then when he was finished. I was shocked and beyond aggravated. It looked like a first year student had done my hair. Never Ever Again! Manager gave me a 20% discount but asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Really?

Great if you need anything…
I was looking for new foundation and concealer. I went in with a few suggestions from a friend and the girl that helped me was awesome.
She pulled a few different products, gave me a few suggestions, was very pleasant and friendly and patient.
I like the fact that they are an every brand kind of place. Makes it easy to get a few things I need and sometimes gifts for others.

A few friends have repeatedly recommended Ulta’s salon to me, and today I finally went. The biggest reason for my visit today was that I NEEDED a trim before my trip tomorrow, and they could get me in at the same time as my canceled appointment at a salon nearby ;)
Sonja did a great job cutting and styling my pixie cut, and was friendly and personable the whole time. She also recommended a styling spray I’m eager to try when I give it a go myself tomorrow.
And the whole store-​in-​the-​same-​place deal? A blessing and a curse. My haircut cost less than usual, but I made up the difference with an eyeliner someone else recommended. Oops!
I also liked that they could put my tip on my credit/​debit card. A lot of salons have you pay cash for the tip, which has frequently caught me by surprise, since I don’t usually have cash with me.

The Salon at Ulta in Auburn Hills is literally your one stop beauty destination !
I have been here 3 times now and I have been 100% happy with my hair, my nails and my beauty treatment. The staff is very attentive and they listen. If you aren’t happy, say something, they will correct it & not treat you poorly because you didn’t like something they did.
Hair, Sonia all the way. From the moment I sat down the first time, she made me feel comfortable and really listened to what I said. She also shows you how to re-​create the hairstyle at home, which is HUGE!
And, extra bonus points for The Salon at Ulta, they are open on Sunday!!!

I’ve been coming to this Ulta for many years, most of my friends and I are all loyal customers to the store and my personal favorite Katie in the salon is the BEST! I was so disappointed when I moved out of state and I couldn’t keep my same hairdresser. Their a nice team and they’re actually knowledgeable of the product!
