Great atmosphere, food was excellent, will come again. Kung pow calamari is a must. We met the owner at the door-with 5 min. Left of happy hour and he was happy to honor the happy hour pricing! He was super nice and shared his favorites-we will definitely be coming back!

Recommend crispy brussel sprouts and korean street noodles. The calamari was good but had better and the chicken wings had a lot of flavor but wish it was more crispy. The atmosphere was cute and casual. The waiter was helpful and nice. I would go there again!!!

Was served by Nick who was an excellent and attentive server. I had the Curried prince plate. Not sure the exact name of it. I was able to try a bite of a friends bahn mi sliders as well. Also delicious I also had the cauliflower dish which both were delicious! They have a great selection of dishes as well as a great drinks and beer options!

Service was good but having a strong background with Asian food I can honestly say that the food here was absolutely awful. My brother tried the bimbimbaap and the veggies were raw and uncooked, not sure if that’s intentional but it was not good. My sister tried the ramen and it tasted like hot water with noodles, I could say that instant ramen taste better than this. I ordered the pork belly yakisoba and it was too sweet and I had to order rice on the side, but in the end, I couldn’t finish it. Extremely disappointing place considering high reviews, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The service was great, but the food was inedible. My son had noodles and chicken but the noodles had an old sticker in it from the package. I had ordered the ramen and it tasted like instant ramen without the season package. My husband ordered the bibimbap bowl and he could not finish it. I’m not entirely sure how this place got the high ratings that it did, but it was definitely not worth the hype. We didn’t finish our meal and ended up going to McDonald’s right after.

Service spotty. Drinks were quick but we waited a long time for water to be filled. Hong Kong dragon cocktail is good. The brussel sprout dish is awesome. It’s wok fried and nice and crispy. The Korean street noodles need a little more umami. I added chili sauce, and the salt level is right, but the dish doesn’t quite have enough flavor. The salmon is a weird east west mix. The salmon is a sweet teriyaki sauce flavor and the noodles are Italian, with an Alfredo like sauce. It’s actually pretty good. Place is cold and drafty in the winter. Insist on sitting far from the windows.(I’m really warm blooded but I almost had to dine in a jacket) I’ll try it again.

This is a place where I’d come back to in a while to see if it had reached its full potential. We stopped by on a Sunday night and the place wasn’t very busy. The greeter/server was polite, informative and cheerful. Luckily we got there in time for happy hour. I tried the crispy brussels first. While delicious and super spicy they weren’t very crispy. We also had their fries which came with two different dipping sauces. I love fries and these didn’t disappoint. The Bulgogi beef sliders and chicken skewers were good but not something that really blew me away. I was a bit distracted by the blue painters tape half on above me. Overall three stars, the food was ok, service was polite but the atmosphere and high prices dimmed my overall experience.

I love Aji Tram. It’s so convenient for us and the food is incredibly delicious. My son adores the food here too and he will eat everything. I mean. EVERY. THING! It’s crazy fun to watch him scarf down this tasty fare. My only(and I seriously mean ONLY) complaint is the service can be somewhat slow and sporadic. It can also be extra wonderful depending on who is working. I suggest hiring some great big smiles and putting them up front and center to make up for any slowness.

Nice atmosphere, got the brussel sprouts for the small plate and they were really good. Meal kinda fell apart at the entrée however. Ramen was not very good and the Korean noodles were better, but I wouldn’t ever want to order it again. They may have some better things on the menu, but of the things we ate. Not close to my favorite.

Came here for happy hour on a recommendation from a friend. This place did not disappoint. Since this was my first visit I asked our server, Aubrey, for suggestions. We ordered the Aji chicken wings(a must have), the shrimp tempura and banh mi sliders. Everything was delicious, full of flavor, tasty! The staff are super friendly and quick. Great customer service. Very nice, casual atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing service! Fantastic food off the beaten path(or what seems to be). Being from the Bay Area, I had no idea where to go for dinner while in town on business. Came across this gem on Unilocal… And boy am I glad! I shall return next time I’m in the area! I highly recommend the Korean street noodles if you like spicy. Thanks everyone at Aji Tram! And thanks for the brussel sprouts(also super delicious — crispy not soggy)!

This place has been on my bookmark list for months. The experience here did not disappoint. 1. Service is good but it can be a bit slow. On a Sunday starting around 5 this place filled up quickly. The bar seemed to have trouble keeping up. No awful just apparent that their timing was slowing down quickly after 5:30. 2. The atmosphere is nice with a large open dinning area. Seating is fairly comfortable chairs and padded banquets. It gets a bit noisy with the high ceilings but it is manageable. 3. Their food is excellent. The Brussels sprouts are awesome as are their chicken wings. I had a special, Asian corn dogs which were tremendous. Portions are large especially the noodle dishes. If you do not like spices you may not like many of the dishes. They do not seem to have the ability to reduce spiciness’ levels. 4. Prices are expensive but I guess it is after all Lake Oswego.

It’s good to scout places like this to savor it a bit before springing it on my family. They’ll like it, I’m confident. The fresh rolls and peanut sauce were fantastic. The wings had too much sweet, spicy chili sauce for me, but the crispy tempura was perfect and satisfying. As other reviewers have noted, it’s spicy, so ask for the sauce to the side to cut the heat. I’ll do that next time to cut the soggy, sticky factor. It was mostly empty when I came in around 4:45 – perfect for me because I was hungry and still had errands to run. I just wanted something yummy and fast. The food came out quickly and the service was friendly and efficient. I’ll try the Brussel sprouts and cauliflower next time when I come back with my family.

Great place, but a little on the pricy side. Their small plates so we ordered 3 for 2 people. It was plenty of food and came to $ 32. We had the wings, calamari and Korean street noodles. Wings had awesome flavor, but a little too much breading for my liking. Noodles were excellent. Calamari sauce was good, but calamari it’s self had very little flavor and was small pieces. Overall a 4 because of value. I would recommend and eat here again myself.

I really liked the place! The waitstaff were very friendly and welcoming! Even though the place is small, it does come with a full bar and a few TV’s. The open kitchen allows customers to see and feel the high energy by the chefs, overall, this is a young and hip place to be! A few things that could improve… We placed an order for fried cauliflower, but I think the order never got to the kitchen, We ended up getting it at the end of our meal when it was supposed to be an appetizer. HOWEVER, I loved it because the batter was made with rice flour, making this dish gluten free, and the rice flour makes the cauliflower extra extra crunchy! Seasoning was good too — a little spicy. Matt’s burger got to the table first(still after about a 10– to 15-minute wait), while my Korean street noodles were nowhere to be seen. I insisted on Matt starting without me, and the waitress came to reassure us that because everything’s made fresh, the dishes come out at different times. I’m OK with that and I completely understand, that with a smaller kitchen, it’s harder to time things. … Matt finished his burger. No Korean street noodles. No cauliflower.(At this point we didn’t know the cauliflower order did not get placed). FINALLY the Korean street noodles were served, but I was a little surprised — why is it made with phở noodles? I was half expecting jap chae instead of phở noodles. Phở noodles were too soft and slimy for this flavor-packed dish, I feel. I wanted something with a little more substance. BUT, the flavor was definitely there, a little too salty for me, but the dish also comes with an abundance of steak and veggies — a real complete meal! Lastly, after checking with our waitress, we realized that the cauliflower order was never placed, so we decided to order it anyway even though we were done with our meals. When it was finally served, I felt that it was truly worth the wait. It was probably the best thing that we tried all night — crunchy shell with soft(and VERYHOT) cauliflower florets with a punch. I loved it! I’ll come back and try some of their other stuff. I think the restaurant is still pretty new, so I am looking forward to other things being improved and added!

Amazing, tried three main dishes and several sides. Every one has been great, the cauliflower is perfect with a sweet ginger sauce, the wings have a good amount of heat, and the steak skewer was perfectly marinated. The complexity of flavors in every dish was outstanding, and the service has been pretty good and very helpful in picking good dishes. I highly recommend Aji Tram! I have been told by many friends that their calamari is great but I have not yet had the chance to try it.

My ears perked up when I heard there was ramen in Lake Oswego, so I hightailed it over there to give it a try. Their location is somewhat off the beaten path, so hopefully enough people find them, because my first visit was enough to make me a fan. I want to try everything on the menu! Weekday lunchtime that I was there was pretty quiet, so food didn’t take long at all, and service was friendly and prompt. I had the ramen(of course). It’s $ 10 and while I thought the bowl looked small, it was definitely enough food. The broth is a bit spicy, and pretty rich and meaty. Not too salty either. The noodles were not cooked enough — they were a tad chewier than they should have been, and there were sections where the noodles were clumped together tightly and didn’t separate. I think they could have used another minute or two in the boiling water before being put in the soup. Luckily it wasn’t dried ramen — definitely refrigerated noodles, just not cooked quite long enough. The quail egg on top is a cute touch. The pork belly was sliced very thickly and was somewhat crispy. Also came with enoki mushroom, some greens(kale?) and a few slices of fish cake. Not the best ramen I’ve had, but if the noodles were cooked a little longer, I would get it again. The bahn mi with pulled pork was frikkin’ amazing. OMG, give me one of those sandwiches any day. Fresh soft bread, and the meat was tender and incredibly flavorful. A little tangy, a little spicy, not subtle, and so delicious. It came with a side of sweet potato fries, which were good but needed salt. 2nd visit we went for dinner and tried a bunch of things. The Korean Cauliflower was fried and covered in spicy chili sauce, and the pan-fried Brussels sprouts were pretty tasty. I had the Korean Street noodles with chicken and though that was the best thing on the table. Son’s Bulgogi beef skewer was good — he ate the whole thing plus the bed of rice, and it came with a good amount of veggies. Hubby had the Bun bowl — warm, at their suggestion since it was a cold night — and he loved it. Our server at dinner was totally on the ball and food came out quickly. Aji Tram definitely smacks you in the face with bold flavors but none were over the top or too spicy. I think I have a new favorite restaurant!

«They have wings» — 3 simple words that will have A following me to any restaurant. So with 3 simple words I won the«What do you feel like having tonight?» battle. In an unassuming strip mall, I probably would’ve never found this place without Unilocal. It definitely breathed a Portland vibe in our little suburban neck of the woods. A started with a Tamarind Whiskey Sour that looked delish. We chose the Korean Street Noodles with Shrimp, Bibimbap Mixed Grill with Steak, and, of course, the Aji Chicken Wings. The waitress brought out a cup of wetnaps, which upped the saucy anticipation. The noodles and bibimbap came out first. I’m guessing because the wings were gonna be so messy. The noodles were good and the shrimp were peeled all the way to the tail so you could every morsel. The bibimbap was also really good. The rice was topped with stir fried veggies, a cold mushroom salad, a sunny side up egg, and the steak was marinated and cooked well even though there were only a few chunks. The chicken wings were indeed messy. I was kind of afraid of them slipping out of my hand and hitting A in the face. Good thing we’re married. No backsies. They were the perfect amount of crispy, juicy, and meaty. They reminded me of the ones at Shandong. Good stuff! They just added gelatos and vegan sorbettos to the menu. So we ended with a cup each of coconut ginger and chocolate. Both were a good end to the meal. Checking in on Unilocal gets you 5% off the bill. Sweet! We’re excited to try out the rest of the menu!

I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t sure what to make of an asian fusion restaurant in Lake Oswego with a caucasian owner… The space is nice. Open, friendly, bright, and trendy without being too ostentatious. Kids still seem welcome. My favorite were the crispy brussel sprouts(not the brussel sprout larb) 5 stars! Roasted just perfectly with a great fish sauce. A few chilis sprinkled in that are quite spicy but are perfect together. The bulgogi sliders were quite good. 4.5 stars. Much preferred over koi fusion, albeit much more expensive. The roasted artichoke was also quite good. I think it was a special though so might not be available all the time. 4 stars. The chicken wings were pretty good. 4 stars. The ramen was a bit disappointing… 2 stars. Only been there once so can’t speak for everything but will definitely be back as so close to my house.
