I’ve been to Artistic Nails a dozen times and I’ve never had any issues with service. I can always get right in when I walk in and can always get an appointment at my desired time when I call. They do get pretty busy after work on weekdays, so coming early on a Saturday is usually the safest bet. I will say that if I come in at 5:30, even with an appointment, sometimes there’s sitting around. They try to get everyone in and while I appreciate that when I’m the one getting squeezed in, it can be a bit annoying when you have an appointment. All of that aside, they do a great job. This is the ONLY place I’ve ever gotten Shellac that lasts like it’s supposed to without peeling or cracking until its 2+ weeks old and time for a change. My biggest issue with Artistic Nails is that while they say they take credit cards, they really don’t. They will ask you a dozen times if you have cash or check. Even worse, they’ll ask if you can go get cash from the grocery store a few doors down. It’s a bit awkward– don’t advertise that you accept card if you don’t really want to!

My favorite nail place in the area. I’ve been going to them for years and am never disappointed!

Wonderful nail shop! Just about anyone you go to does an amazing job, but my favorite is Tina. They are quick and friendly, and can almost always accommodate an appointment.

I have been here several times and the Owner I believe did my manicures. A good job. Today I was a few minutes late, the girl who worked on me didn’t even say hello. She never smiled once. She had another client after me, but seemed really pissed another girl took her over bc She was working on me. I can appreciate a schedule — they have good prices and are convenient — but I will never go back :(. I don’t need that kind of experience when getting a manicure is a luxury for me and I am wanting a nice experience! There is too much competition in the nail world to accept this treatment. I am happy to take my experience somewhere else where I am made to feel welcome. ADDENDUM: Manager did call me a few days later after this review and invited me to come back after a I sent a private snail mail letter — but did NOT offer me a manicure or pedicure, etc… for free — which — I have to say, is good management. Pretty sure I’m not going back, even tho it is very convenient. There are tooooo many nail salons and much competition for business that I can get great service elsewhere with.

I have been going here for years, so it’s my spot. I go to Tina or Cindy and my mom goes to Kim. Some days are busier than others and they have some issues with scheduling. They do a great job with shellac and take their time. They are very friendly! We love them.

A lovely place, very convenient and wonderful staff. They pleasantly fit me in and gave me a great manicure and pedicure that made my afternoon perfect. Great painting work, very detailed and great with dark colors. If you’re local definitely consider making it your regular place.

Terrible experience! I went in for a pedicure(which costs $ 22) and was taken aback by how fast it was done! It was as if they were trying to break a world record for the fastest pedicure. The place was empty, so it wasn’t because they were busy. Just a quick soak, nail clipping, cuticle treatment and then polish. No buffing! When I made a comment to express my displeasure, I was told 30 minutes is the time allotted for a pedicure. I replied that the whole process took no more than 20 minutes with an extra 10 minutes for my polish to dry. I won’t be back that’s for sure! I’m better off going back to Lamour Nail Salon, where I usually go. Lamour is across the street and does a better job.
