Was really surprised at their quick and efficient service! They also have one of the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! Would highly recommend this place for brunch.

Awesome eggs Benedict, cinnamon roll French toast was like dessert for breakfast. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was on point. We will definitely be back.

The food is almost always good here. They are pretty busy on weekends but it’s generally worth the wait. I would recommend the Joe’s scramble. I know it’s a simple thing, but I loved the flavored creamer they keep on the tables for coffee.

Finding a great breakfast place is hard — you can find a lot of places, but rarely do you find a GREAT one. When I was traveling to the Lake Oswego area this past summer, I tried Biscuits Café on a whim and quickly became a fan. The staff was warm and inviting with genuine smiles and everyone just gave off the impression that they genuinely loved working there. The food was extremely fresh and tasty and I was very happy with my choice! So, today, when I returned to Lake Oswego for the holiday, I decided to try Biscuits again to make sure it wasn’t just a fluke visit — and happily, it lived back up to the standard I was used to! We were easily seated(large dining area always has room) and got a hot cup of great coffee right away(we needed to shake the Oregon chill from our Arizona bones!). The staff was lovely yet again and very accomodating! I decided to try the Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast, as I assumed it was appropriate for a place with«biscuits» in the name! It was awesome! The generous biscuit was soft in the right spots and crispy in the right spots — I am sure it was wonderful on it’s own, but the gravy took a starring role here! I have tried sausage gravy in all corners of the country and this was, without a doubt, the BEST sausage gravy I have ever had in a restaurant! Thick and savory with beautiful nuggets of sausage and the hint of rosemary to finish it off! Balancing my breakfast meat crave, the thick cut bacon on the side was perfectly cooked and delish! Prices are a little on the higher side of breakfast fare, but reasonable for the Portland area. I will gladly recommend!

This is your standard American diner experience. Large portions and unlimited coffee. I came here for breakfast, no wait, lots of open tables. The service was very friendly and attentive. I also loved how they have different flavored creamers on the table(I happen to be a big hazelnut fan). Small, but nice, detail. I ordered the turkey sausage omelette and veggies. For your side, you can choose between hash browns or red potatoes. Definitely get the red potatoes! They are seasoned with rosemary and spices and just delicious. The omelette was tasty– nothing to write home about, but it’s pretty hard to screw up eggs right? The real star of the show was the jam! Fresh strawberry jam. I loved how sweet and flavorful it was. Not the tiny Smuckers packets we always see cluttering the table. I ordered wheat toast with it and ended up eating both slices. I would come back just to put that jam on everything! The prices are right, the food comes out quickly, and very friendly service. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Lake O.

OK so I heard this place rocked. Greeted and sat right away by a very friendly waitress. Ordered the biscuits & gravy with potatoes, bacon, eggs, and chicken apple sausage. Gravy seemed a bit bland and the biscuits were dry. I added green Tobasco which helped. Everything else was delicious. There was also a stunning beauty working there. Amazing.

Nice servers. Love that I can get breakfast food for lunch during the workday. Sometimes a bit of a wait for the food to come out, depending how busy it is. Chicken Fried Chicken is solid. Country Benedict is solid. Pancakes are sometimes undercooked and doughy, but I still love me some pancakes. Hearty portions & delicious taste.

Stopped for Lunch. Salads are over $ 10 each. About 30% over-priced for what you get. Probably the worst simple chicken Salad I have had. Ever. chicken looked as if it was boiled. Salad was just lettuce, corn and some artificial tasting dressing. My wife sandwich also. This place lacks any food creativity. Bland bland bland… However, ALL they need is a new Chef! Quickly, before they go out of business. I’m surprised they are still in business. It would not take a lot to get this place working again. A basic management issue.

I was going to just put 4 stars, the food was really good especially for the price, but the reason I put an extra star was due to my server, Misty. I had a meeting in the area and I was an hour early, so I wanted to get some breakfast while I worked on a few things. She helped me right away, got my order all taken care of, kept the coffee flowing and had my bill ready for me and said no rush just whenever I was ready. Thanks for the great service Misty!

I’ve been hear for breakfast once and lunch twice. Each time it was fine and about what I expected. The food was alright and I would come back, but I’m not excited or raving about it either. The one thing I will say is the portions are huge, so you certainly get your money’s worth. Service speed is reasonable, again about what you would expect.

My family has been coming here for years & it’s always the same. Good quality food, served fast with great service! It’s nice to have something to count on in this world, even if it’s good breakfast!

The best biscuits I have ever ate. Particularly with the homemade strawberry preserves. Hash browns were a little undercooked for my taste, but I like them super brown. Eggs needed salt all around. Portions are generous. Prices are reasonable. Kids inhaled the French toast. Wife is in love with Joe’s Scramble. I had the Southwest Scramble. The chorizo was sparse, but salsa fresco was just like we make at home.

Great breakfast. Not greasy etc. Straight forward menu choices and good food. Casual, family friendly atmosphere. It is usually quite busy here, so you prob will have a wait on the weekends. The corned beef hash was great and their French toast was also excellent. It is pretty hard to do breakfast badly, and this place does it well. I

Got the biscuits and gravy with bacon and hash… bacon was over cooked, almost burnt and the entire top of my hash browns were burnt. should of checked my order before I left. lame, our want even that busy inside so I know the cook wasn’t rushed.

When I ate at Biscuits Café for breakfast in 2014, I did enjoy my meal. A fattening combination of chocolate-chip pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs did me over on this particularly delectable morning. I did however hit a bump in my breakfast road when I was in need of a cranberry juice refill, and it took waiters several minutes to accommodate to my needs. So aside from a lack of speedy inter-meal service from staff, my breakfast at Biscuits was a mouth-watering one.

Another great breakfast. I had the ham Benedict and my wife had Joe’s Scramble. We’re taking a box home. Amy is our server and she always does a great job.

It was not bad. Not the best either. The food was average in taste and portion but above average in price. The service was okay, and the waitresses were all very nice. They did screw up or order slightly but fixed it right away. Some of the items were spot on, like the café mocha which is made from half hot chocolate and half coffee. The jam they served with the biscuits was delightful, and masked what was a somewhat dry and boring biscuit. The huevos rancheros were advertised as a special at the front of the shop but were exactly the same price, portion, and ingredients as on the menu which was confusing. We were not sure if it was really so special! I dunno, with so many great options around I don’t see myself going back here any time soon. Too expensive for the Denny’s like food that you get.

I am not sure how this lake Oswego café figures closing time. they say 6:30 till 2:30.. we went in at 2:04 and as soon as we opened the door the server pops around the corner and says we are closing could I get you something to go… are you kidding me ?? closing is at 2:30 if you are closed lock the damn door lady!!! we have visited. Oregon city biscuits, one of our favorites Mt Scott biscuits and our very favorite West Linn. I had heard from people that lake Oswego was touch and go with very slow service and not very consistent food. wanted to try because others had been good. I didn’t even get in the front door to find out !! sorry girl we cut into your party time or what ever. …

Wellll big olé thumbsaroonie down for Biscuits from this Tx Girl. I went anticipatory, elated at the thought of biscuits and gravy without having to fly to Dallas… However — Ive tried twice at differnt locations — meh… You would think with biscuits as their BRAND they would be out of this world. Oh contraire. The gravy — bleeck! Bacon and eggs are all u can guarantee there. Who can really screw that up. On top if that, you get fast food ambience, and I have yet to have anything but a tired, rushed waitress. Two strikes — you are out, my doughy friends. Best biscuits I have found, now actually authentic real Southern biscuits and gravy to be found — of all places — at the Hot Diggity stand in Tigard Home Depot parking lot!!! Five stars to its Georgia fella owner!

Great breakfast and service! I was pleased at how nice the servers were, regardless of how busy it was. I ordered a country omelet which was delicious and my dish filled the entire plate. Definitely a thumbs up. As for the noise level and seating, it was not loud at all and the seats were comfortable. Overall it was a great experience. I recommend trying this place out if you haven’t already.
