Tanseem is amazing. She delivered far greater, more in depth, wholistic treatment than I anticipated. Her intuitive sense and technical skill is impressive. From the warm welcome when I walked in, throughout my body wrap and facial, and all the way to the hug at my departure, I felt important and well cared for. My skin looks and feels amazing and I feel physically, mentally and emotionally more relaxed than I’ve felt in quite some time. Tasneem is absolutely the BEST eyebrow threader I have met! She is an artist and I trust her. She is super sweet, easy to talk to, and takes her time when threading the more sensitive areas around the eyes.
Hope that there will be more threaders working at Brow Boutique with the talent and kindness that Tasneem has, since this is hard to find.
The location is very convenient, clean and has a nice ambience. Claudia and Hiba who work on scheduling have been great.

Brow Boutique in downtown Lake Oswego is a great choice for getting that «just right» look on one’s eyebrows. Having had my eyebrows plucked and waxed within an inch of their life at other places, this was a walk in the park. The experience of «threading» is super quick, and the ladies are all super sweet. They care that things look and feel right to the client’s standard… Thank you!

SO helpful and SO nice. They got me in last minute and did a great job. So knowledgeable. I expected to sit, get a standard threading and be on my way. That was not the case. They really take the time to hear what you want and offer their own thoughts. I loved them so much I stayed for a wax and bought product! I am VERY picky about my brows so this was a great experience for trying a new place!

I’ve been coming here about a year to have my brows threaded. They are quick and do a great job each time. Scheduling is easy and they always accommodate booking mine and my sisters appointments together.

My girlfriend turned me onto threading after my eyebrows have been growing out of control for years! I’ve done waxing and that just sucks, plus they gave me the «wrong» eyebrows according to Tasneem.
She formed my eyebrows within a few sessions and now they conform to my face without making it seem like i even get them done. Tasneem has called in the past to reschedule but only because of emergencies, which almost never happens. You have to think, as a small business owner — things come up! She has always been flexible with me, so why not reciprocate and pay it forward? She has great monthly specials and I’ve had great chemical peels, microderm facials, and eyebrow services.
I will never go to another threader!

Today was my first visit to Brow Boutique. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, it was calm and relaxing although I had a busy day running around as soon as I walked in I felt a sense of calm. The Boutique was very clean which is my top priority when going to a spa. The staff was super friendly and professional. Last but not least I love how they shaped my eyebrows, surprisingly I felt very little pain from the threading compared to my previous experiences.

I moved to Portland a year ago and searched for a someone to tint and wax my brows. I decided to give threading a try and so glad I did, but especially glad that I found Tasneem and the Brow Boutique. I was (happily) surprised at the time and attention she spent with me on my first visit, definitely taking a holistic approach and caring to understand what I wanted and thoroughly explaining the process. She made great recommendations that have given me results I never even thought possible in all the years I’ve been getting my brows done.
I also decided to get my lashes tinted as I was having problems with even waterproof mascara running. I can’t believe my results after only 2 visits with Tasneem. I now have long dark lashes, thicker and better shaped brows and use no mascara!
Since moving locations (which I must say the new location is so beautiful and inviting), Brow Boutique provides even more great services. I had a wonderful facial that was both relaxing and made a visible difference in my skin. They use only the best products which they test themselves before ever using them on their clients.
As far as pre-​paying for services (per another review listed here), I’ve had the exact opposite experience! I was the one who called several times to reschedule last minute and they were always accommodating and never charged me a «cancellation fee» like most places would. If you want quality service providers who truly care about you (which means it goes both ways and you should truly care about them when they have unexpected issues), then Brow Boutique Threading Bar will not disappoint you!
I’ve had a consistently great experience for a year now and I plan to see Tasneem for all of my brow/​lash and facial needs. I’m so excited they are continuing to expand their business — if only all my service providers were this fantastic!

Threading: I am not going to say that this is painless procedure. Even though this is more gentle and natural than waxing, it still involves individual hairs to be taken out from your skin.
Approach: Tasneem’s touch is very gentle and relaxing. Even though some hair hurt more than others and occasional tear rolls down my cheek, this is the most relaxing eyebrow shaping I have had and I wish it lasted longer.
Results: My skin is never red and irritated like it used to be with waxing. The perfect finishing touch is the makeup they use to make you look just great. Take a look in the mirror after the first eyebrow is done and you will see the difference.
Relationship: I got my husband to start coming in with me as well. It takes us 45 minutes to drive here from our house so that shows you our dedication to come to this specific place. We consider Tasneem and her daughter Hibah our friends and we are always happy to see them.

What the negative reviewer didn’t realize is that at that time Tasneem was dealing with a serious medical condition. Thank god that is all in the past and Tasneem is back at doing what she not only loves but is truly gifted at. My daughter just got her brows done earlier this week before going back to college. Where else would she go other than the Brow Boutique? Tasneem is knowledgable about dealing with her varied clientele, whether they are Middle eastern or not. There’s no such thing as «one brow style fits all» that you find elsewhere. Tasneem carefully considers each face she sees. Both my daughter and I know that no matter what, we’ll leave looking gorgeous. We love the new location — the décor is lovely and inviting. You will feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment you arrive. I refer everyone I know here — friends and work colleagues alike. Every single one of them has been very happy with the work Tasneem does. You won’t regret going to the Brow Boutique!

Be very careful of paying your money ahead of time for any package for this place. I was called and asked to cancel/​change my appointment EVERY Single month. There was always a scheduling issue for them. This happened over 6 months. I learned to ignore their phone calls & emails. When I did go in for my appointments there was a young lady Intern that worked on my brows. This was not advised to me ahead of time. I didn’t get any discount for letting them use an Intern on me. Another time there was another substitute Service Provider and this was not advised to me ahead of time. I didn’t pay for this other person. I tried to make my appointments online with them and then their system had no availability for over 4 months. I then wondered if they were still in business. When I was there in person I asked to schedule an appointment for the next month and the Scheduling person said, «No.» She said she would call. She never called. Several incidents of unprofessionalism, poor scheduling practices and not honoring a client’s pre-​paid services for the Service Provider. Your client does not want substitutes. Not cool. You need to make it very clear to the client ahead of time of who’s working on their face. I demanded a refund on the pre-​paid package and they had the gall to say «no.» They were reported to the Better Business Bureau.
