I love working here. It is one of the most warm, loving, nurturing, and openly diverse schools I have had the pleasure to work for. The staff have accepted me with arms outstretched and made my transition from California seamless. I adore working with my co-workers and all the children at CHA. I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else.

I have been bringing my daughter to The Childrens Hour Academy since May ’13. She was at first in the«mobile infant» room. She has advanced rapidly and is about to move from«early toddler» to «toddler». I trust the staff with my daughter, which is the bottom line most important thing. I believe strongly that she is ahead of the curve in large part due to the things she is learning there. For example, baby signing and social interaction. We plan to continue here for the foreseeable future. :)

If you are looking for an amazing daycare/preschool — you seriously have to look no further. I have two boys and both of them attended CHA in 2012 – 2013. One of them, my three year old was at the Jean Road campus(for the younger kids/preschool) and my older one was at the other campus for Kindergarten. Staff is simply amazing — it’s not just a «school» — you become a part of a larger family while you are at CHA. The folks truly care for your kids and look out for their best interests. At BOTH campuses they have parent/teacher conferences reviewing how your child is doing. At the younger/Jean Rd campus the teachers are great with constantly communicating how your child’s day went — something that I thought was in all younger/preschool/daycare environments but it’s not! At my son’s most recent preschool — they never provide communication unless you ask for it! Plus one other thing that’s brilliant about younger classes — the teachers move up to the next level with them so there’s continuity for the kids in their learning/routines, etc! We unfortunately had to move away at the end of 2013. And I was bummed that we had to pull our boys from the school. I’ve asked Patty/Michelle(and continue to do so) if they can open up a campus where we moved to! If you are looking for an academic focused school for both younger and elementary level kids — you can’t get any better than here! It’s a perfect blend of academics, fun and family. It’s not like the corporate daycares/schools — where they«pack them in» to reap the maximum revenue. My boys thrived here and I would highly recommend this school to anyone that lives in/around the area.

My 2 children attend the infant/toddler center on Jean Road and I am extremely happy. The facility is nice and clean, the playground is spacious — my 2 year old gets ample time to play outdoors and I love that the teachers will sometimes perform their curriculum outside as well. The teachers are energetic and have done an excellent job with communicating how my child is doing — they maintain a daily blog describing what the class did that day and many times, they include pictures as well. I look forward to reading the update every day and I love that i can talk to my daughter in more detail about what she did that day since I was able to read about it on their daily blog. They incorporate a Music Together class weekly which my daughter just loves and I like the additional enrichment to their curriculum. The one downside is the cost — it isn’t cheap, but we have made the commitment to make it work financially — and we do not have any regrets about it! I would absolutely recommend the place!
