Best service ever! Yawnny and his crew were great. Helped me on a Friday afternoon so I wouldn’t be without a vehicle! They took what was a bad situation and made it something almost enjoyable.

They were honest in their assessment, required a less expensive diagnostic check, and very informative. Much appreciated!

Avoid.
As a long time Firestone customer, I felt confident that I could bring my wheels here to have the tires dismounted. They are an auto repair shop that specializes on tires — so I think i’m on solid ground here. I was doing this on the way to another appointment, so assuming i could unload the tires and come back at a time that fit within their schedule, I carefully unloaded them from my wife’s Subaru. I went in to let the manager, Taran, know what I had in mind and to let him know that I had to get going but I could come back any time later that day to pick up the tires and wheels. He stopped me and we walked outside so he could look at the wheels. Apparently, their equipment was inoperable and he didn’t want to dismount my tires (they could, but these were expensive wheels and he didn’t want to damage them). I explained, with dirty hands from already unloading the tires, that I was in a hurry and that I was fine with waiting a WEEK if need be if they would just take care of this for me. Rather than working with me in any way, he flatly refused to help me. So, they could have fixed the equipment and i would have come back on their schedule, or they could have even offered to have another firestone pick them up and dismount them. Instead, I had to re-​load the tires and wheels into my wife’s car and drive across the street to Goodyear, who had no problem taking care of this for me. As a result, i was more than 20 minutes late to my next appointment.
So, don’t expect them to be able to dismount your tires and definitely don’t expect them to take necessary steps to help longtime customers.

I’m a single woman and have a Volvo, so I’m extremely leery of automotive ANYTHING! However, from day one, I’ve always felt heard and treated fairly with Taryn’s group. Recently, when I had a Xenon bulb out, I stopped in for service. When they did not have the bulb on hand, Jim encouraged me to give it a try on my own while allowing me to watch the tech put it back to together. He offered to order up the part and have me come back to install them, however it was an easy fix and I was more than capable of doing it. I ordered the bulbs on line and was elated to not only install them myself; I saved $ 150 between the cost of 2 bulbs and labor.
Recently Tyson did amazing custom work on a very detailed brake caliper issue. My heart sank thinking for sure this would be the time that I saw the Groups’ true colors. Long story short, they found parts cheaper than the dealership, provided discounts (they ALWAYS have coupons, you just have to be proactive) and best part ever, any repair work they do comes with a lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the car. WIN, WIN!
Finally, the deals on tires here average $ 200 less than the competitor. Only downside, they don’t come out to you like the competitor. However, who cares, I trust them and believe me, they’ve earned it in sassy for sure. ;)

I called Jim at the office for some tires on a Tuesday. He said he could have them the next day. Called the next day (Wednesday). He said, «Oh yeah, hey, looks like we’re gunna hafta order them. I’ll have them by Monday.» At this time, I felt confident enough that he would be a man of his word. I scheduled an appointment for a brake service to go in line with the tires being done for Monday. I asked Jim if I should call him Thursday and Friday too make sure he gets the tires. He reassured me he’s on top of it. Well today is Monday, and I called the office in Lake Oswego, OR for Firestone (so there’s no confusion) and spoke with Jim at 9:30AM in preparation for my appointment. He said he wanted to put his hands physically on the tires (didn’t sound good obviously), and that he’d call me back in 10 minutes. Well an hour and a half went by and low and behold I never received a call from Jim. So I called and spoke with Matt. After being placed on hold, Matt told me they would have to order the tires. What a joke this place is. Why lead your customers on? I was going to be spending over $ 1,000 there today, but now, I’m obviously not going to be doing business with them, and rather, felt the need to post the review to warn others. Thanks for wasting my time Jim, with Firestone in Lake Oswego, OR.

Parts and labor were both overpriced in my experience. While I did appreciate the communication, promptness, and speed, it did seem a bit pricey. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Quality work and follow up from this team.

Thank you Taran, Jim, and Thomas! I have had a lot of work completed here in the past few months to include new tires and other major repairs. These guys have been honest, professional and friendly. Taran was quick to mention any monthly deals or others savings that could help reduce my cost. Thomas is always eager to provide car advice and refer me to places if they can’t handle the issue. I always show up with my dog since we are in walking distance. She gets lots of treats from Jim and she loves these guys which is a good sign. She is picky with her encounters with humans. I highly recommend Firestone LO. Too bad about the poor reviews. Some people are just high maintenance and dramatic.

I purchased tires from here four months ago and have never been happier. Taran, the store manager helped me pick the right tires that were the latest versions of my previous tires. I Unfortunately got a flat and had to replace all four. Although I was unhappy about having to spend all that money on four new tires I understood why and the staff there made it easy for me.

The quotes that I get here for «recommended urgent service» just don’t seem legitimate and I can’t say I trust the crew there based on the prices. I often take the car to someone who specializes in Volvo and it turns out that what I’ve often been told is not exactly accurate. I go here for the basic stuff, but always get a few quotes and be careful with your money when dealing with this shop

The guys here were awesome. Service was prompt and friendly. They called me a few times with updates and even bent over backward to help me when something went wrong with my rebate at the corporate level. I’m not sure what others experienced but the guys here in November/​December of 2013 have been terrific and I thank them for being both professional and friendly.

I gave one star as the guy in the office was nice and seemed to genuinely feel badly that they mis-​diagnosed the problem 3 times to the tune of $ 650 and I drove away with the same problem. The manager was perfectly comfortable taking our money even though the problem was not solved. He did offer a very small discount as I was angry. I took it to my Honda dealer (Where I would have taken it in the first place but they were closed on Sunday) and they fixed it for a LOT less and said these guys way over charged me. I have bought tires here in the past and will never walk through their door again, even if my car breaks down across the street.
