Wonderful rehab department! Caring staff with huge rooms! After asking around, this rehab facility came highly recommended. I don’t know why people are complaining about the food. I’ve ordered it and it was better than I expected!

My 82 yr. old mother stayed here after knee replacement last year. She was so impressed by her initial visit, but after her stay, she said she felt like she was in an impersonal jail, complete with indifferent staff and bad food. One day she rang her buzzer for over an hour trying to get someone to come and help her to the bathroom. When my brother arrived and interceded, he was told by a staff person that she would ‘just have to wait’. My brother got her discharged that day!

My Mom was a resident there for a couple of months and the care she received was substandard. Had to file a complaint with the State of Oregon regarding their failure to provide adequate care. Some of the staff are very nice and very competent, others, not at ALL. Food is pretty nasty, Therapists were great, facility is clean and pleasant, but if you aren’t there keeping an eye on a vulnerable loved one (senior with health issues) your loved one may be neglected without you knowing until something awful happens and you end up in the ER with them! Every place has it’s pluses and minuses, but I have a feeling if I hadn’t been there everyday, at least once, often twice, my Mom’s outcome would have been much worse than it already was. :(

My mom was a resident at this facility for about 2 years. The caregivers are absolutely wonderful people. The facility is clean, attractive, and well maintained. The head nurse knows her patients and very easy to talk with. The activities director goes out of her way to involved the residents in a variety of activities. Everyone cares about giving the best care possible. The only down side is the food. It could be better. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
