The team is clean, and easy to work with. They gave me some great advice after they were done with my kitchen. I have another project coming up to use them again. Robert and his crew removed 1600+ sq ft of popcorn ceiling containing asbestos from our residence. From start to finish everything went smoothly, and we were kept updated and informed throughout the process. The cost was almost exactly what we expected, and an original quote of 4 – 5 days ended up being only 3. Following removal we had several drywallers come for estimates on mudding and all were impressed with the clean state of the drywall, one guy mistakenly thinking it was recently hung. The inspector for a house I just purchased in Edmonds confirmed that all the pipes in the house had asbestos insulation around them and my popcorn ceiling tested positive for asbestos not counting the flooring which is evidently asbestos tile. The asbestos testing lab, NVL Labs, Inc. that I went to gave me a couple of contractors to call. One didn’t return my call and the other was clearly jacking up prices over the phone and offered to come take a look for $ 100 which he called «beer money». Anyway I found the state of Washington list of contractors to use for removing hazardous materials on Google and called Robert Scherf of Affordable Asbestos Abatement of Washington. It was night and day. He quoted very fair prices, came out to look at no cost, told me what I could do myself and was and is unbelievably helpful. He did the work on time and had the air lab tested before I went back in and took away extra asbestos boards found in the attic at no additional charge. Highly recommended!
