Master Shin does a great job teaching the kids not only Tae Kwon Do, but respect for themselves, their families and their community!

I would have had nothing but great reviews until recently. My son attended tigers black belt for a few months. While he was there, we were quite impressed with master shin and his abilities to work with and reach the children. However, after his initial «trial period» was over, we were signed up for a six month program. A few months in, my son had lost interest and decided it was something he didn’t want to do anymore. While trying to cancel the automatic payments straight from my checking account, I was them informed that the 6 month program was an actual contract and that on the back side of the paper I signed was the cancellation policy. Never once was this information given to me and there was absolutely no mention of this being a contract or the fact that if a 5 year old lost interest, I would have to pay a 30% cancellation fee. I thought that in comparison to similar businesses, they were rather expensive. Not to mention the ridiculous policy and lack of willingness to work with their clients on the misunderstanding. This experience has definitely changed my view on tigers black belt. I would say that is a good program, just be very weary of signing any paperwork with them, read it all very carefully. And look around at competitors as I’m sure there are just as good, if not better, programs out there for much cheaper

My boys go here and love it. Master Shin and his wife are amazing people who truly care about their impact and influence of the children in their classes. They are extremely active in the community as well. This is great exercise for children and adults mentally and physically!

My son has been learning from Master Shin and is almost to his black belt. Not only has he learned Tae Kwon Do, but he has also learned valuable life skills. We have been very happy to see his attitude and grades improve by learning from Master Shin. Thank you!

This is a great martial arts class. Master Shin is great with my 5 yr old son and we enrolled him when he was 4. Our Tae kwon Do class is wonderful and he teaches discipline, listening skills, respect (with special emphasis towards family). He is truly a great teacher and a good role model for any age. The kids actually have to work for what they get and nothing is ever «given» to them without the kids earning it.
