Brokar Painting and Remodeling

The worst most unprofessional company we ever hired. We hired John Moore to paint our house and deck. They started with deck and that’s were the nightmare began. The paint he suggested to use was sherwin William deck dock. They power wasted the top deck with our outdoor couch chairs table and brand new Weber grill underneath it. They broke our expensive outdoor glass table (John did have that fixed). The paint on our deck never adhered correctly. Having sticking floor and now there are bubbles throughout the deck floor. He offered to have someone else fix it so he doesn’t have to come back. John Estimated that it would be $ 400. I called another painter who called another Williams rep to come to our house (John uses round lake store). This other painter and rep said we are having water problems because John and crew didn’t prep right so it needs to be redone (floor). Everything we said all along. Finding all this out called John back who is now not calling us back. This is no $ 400 fix!
We also was having repair to a window and I guess one of guys worked with John. He said John and crew doesn’t know what they are doing. I did confront him on this

We could not be more satisfied with the job Brokar painting did for us. John and his crew were very thorough and very helpful, as both my husband and I have problems with our hips and knees, they were willing to help us move the heavier items in our home. John is very professional and did help us with suggestions with some decorating ideas. We have already recommended Brokar painting to quite a few people and are very happy to have found such an honest and hard working person to help us accomplish our new look

Excellent work, the painting was perfect and he did some minor carpentry work that turned out really nice, I will use him again and I strongly recommend him.

We did not have a very big job request, just two large sized bedrooms. My husband was referred to Brokar Painting, which we decided to hire. As per our contract agreement, the job was completed to perfection and we couldn’t be happier.
In further conversation with John, the owner, he freely gave us suggestions as to how we could enhance the look in our library and foyer. We took his advice and it turned out wonderful. What also impressed us, besides the painting, was John never tried to sell us more than what we had asked for and to that we were very grateful. He took our budget very seriously.
We would not hesitate in the least to call on Brokar Painting again in the future or to refer family and friends.

Brokar Painting painted our home in 2013, and we couldn’t be more satisfied.
Our house has a very irregular shape, with complex roofs, columns and outside walls. John and his partner stripped the old paint, repaired any broken or rotten siding or sofits, and painted it with expert quality. His services also included removing some insect infestations, like wood ants, filling in the damaged area, priming and painting it over.
They were diligent and meticulous in the work throughout. Many neighbors would stop by to admire the quality of their work.
As John was working on a second floor back deck, he noticed that the flooring of the deck and the wooden railing were in bad shape and actually dangerous. He offered us an excellent price to tear out the old deck and railing, build new ones, and paint it to match the house and lower deck. That added a week to the job, but they did it very well, including clean-​up. He even recommended different railing posts that added to the beauty of our home.
I have had quotes over the years from other reputable house painters, but Brokar’s price beat them hands down, and my wife and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results!
