Nice wide, well-​maintained paths. Most, if not all, fairly easy and a couple of different paths/​loops to choose from. Both prairie & wooded areas. There is at least one small picnic area & restroom. Plus multiple paths leading in/​out of the forest preserve. Don’t forget to bring some bug spray & use it!

Hiking. Snow mobiling. A great and varied Bike trail. Black birds. Huge Turtles. Sand Hill Cranes. Hawks. Vultures. Ground squirrels. Crawfish. Dragonflies. Sparrows. Gold finches. Blue birds. Crows. Deer. Oaks and ashes and maples and quaking aspen and pines and black walnuts.
