Food was great. Country fried steak, eggs, homefries and toast. Great morning breakfast. Service was very good, and the locals treat us like we were as well. prices good. Place takes you back in time…

Customer service was shabby, a lot like the food and I was expecting better. Located in a run down shopping center, it seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming to begin with but I ignored that which was probably a hint of what the food was going to be. Salad was nothing but iceberg lettuce and two small slices of tomato, spaghetti was disgusting unfortunately. One of my favorite dishes but it tasted just bizarre. The garlic toast was the beat thing.

Don’t use the bathroom unless you bring your own toilet paper. Unfortunately I felt like it was a dump. Food was subpar and the service was as well. Unfortunate stop for breakfast on the way over to Clearwater. I guess the locals really like it though! But I won’t be back-ever.

Quaint diner just a quick drive from Triple Canopy Ranch, where we compete in Warrior Dash 2014. Our waitress was Tammy and she was lovely. Our orders were quick to come out and all accurate. The pancakes were delicious as was the French toast. And it’s very reasonably priced! Great service, good food. It was a pleasure!

Food was okay for our quick lunch stop. Nothing special, but the prices were great! BLT was typical — no French fries(fryer was down). Lemon catfish special w/salad, potatoes, and frozen mixed veggies needed lots of seasoning. Bottom line — it was quick, cheap and. Break from Mickey D’s!

Second best Down home country food in Lake Wales, with the first being the Country house. never the less Jack & Mary’s has awesome food and great service. They are only open from 6am-2pm so they only use one cook«Floyd» and he is probably the most talented cook in that area. I’ve had breakfast and lunch here and have never been let down by the food at Jack and Mary’s. If you stop here you have to try the wedding soup that they serve up daily. it is to die for.
