I started with a bloody mary followed by the Fisherman for breakfast. Overall, the food was good and the service was steady, Carrie took good care of me. There was a lot of food with this selection considering you get 2 pieces of French toast, 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausage links and your choice of coffee or tea. Great place to relax and have a good breakfast before going to the beach.

If we’re talking from a food/drink standpoint, it’s a typical beach hangout. The food is decent like their buffalo wings, burgers and lobster rolls. The drinks are the drinks. You’ll get some specials during happy hour, but the reason why you go to Benny’s is simple: A.) It’s located on Lake Worth Beach, so if you’ve been sunbathing or in the water and want something to nosh, then this is the easy go-to. B.) It’s located ON the water with the building being part of the Lake Worth Pier — meaning the views are fantastic. C.) See A. and B. From a culinary standpoint, you can argue the finer points of where to get better burgers, sandwiches, seafood, wings until the cows come home. Everyone will have an opinion yay or nay. You don’t go to Benny’s for this reason, but you won’t be unsatisfied either. Benny’s is a good beach hangout as long as you go at the right time where the wait isn’t long.

I went to Bennies on the Beach yesterday and just had to write a review. In a word it’s magnificent. First you can’t beat being on the ocean, and there is something for everyone there. There is a bar and a band, there are outside and inside tables for dining, and did I mention the beach? The food was the best. I was with a friend, an attorney, and he said that he has never tasted such a good flavor in his chicken. My plate was the Baja Fish Tacos; which consisted of fresh Florida Mahi-Mahi, house-made coleslaw, Sirracha Cream and fresh tomato. Served with Florida mango salsa, it was heavenly… The waitress told us that their chef was associated with the FOODCHANNEL and showed me the article. Great food and great time on the beach!!! BENNIES has mastered the real flavors of South Florida. Enjoy.

Pretty mediocre food. A salad with zero chicken and a pound of peel and eat shrimp and drinks in a thimble $ 100? And their tip calculator clips you on a tax. Why do restaurants on the water here always end up being crap?

It’s gotten pricey, seems like they’ve expanded the kitchen; not sure sitting inside is an option anymore and imp Sitting on the pier is not that great and the wait for upstairs just got longer. There are Some new menu items as well. Gone is the slice of cantaloupe and kale garnish, you just get what you ordered on the plate. Portions also seemed a bit smaller.

We were meeting some friends for dinner that had chosen this restaurant. Although it is a great location on the beach, there was hardly anyone dining on the second floor of this restaurant presumably because the views were somewhat blocked by plastic windows and it was dark out. Their well drinks pours were very weak, but again understandable for the fact you are paying for location. We ordered some appetizers, calamari and shrimp cocktail which were both good. We had a salad that was outstanding which was called Quinona Chicken, but the Shell Fish Bowl was okay, but pricey for the small portion we received. My next visit will be either for lunch or breakfast when I can enjoy the views and avoid high price mediocre dinners.

Did not match the Unilocal 4 star rating. Food was good but too much of it was fried. Also expensive for what you get. This is at best tourist trap. The location can’t be beat and if I was in the mood for a very low key hangout after surfing or fishing ok. But that is it.

Perfect for what it is: a chill spot to grab a cold beer and something fried and horrible for you after the beach! The service is fast and friendly. The crowd is laid back and fun. Benny’s extends on to a pier where it’s perfect to catch some rays and watch people fish!

The staff was great, the view beautiful and the food was even better. We layed on the beach for a few hours then went to this restaurant. My husband orderded the captains platter which was enough food for 3 people. I had their piña colada which was amazing(it comes in an actual pineapple).

I went there for the first time on Monday, January 28th and had the best service from waitress to bartender. Ellen(our bartender) was great! I actually downloaded this app just to do a review because I was so pleased with her service and knowledge. She is one of a kind and I would come all the way back to Florida from Kansas City to have another excellent experience. Good food, excellent service and great atmosphere makes for an awesome experience. Thanks Benny’s and thank you Ellen!

Benny’s On The Beach is a wonderful place to be. My boyfriend and I were here today and had an awesome time. Besides the fact that this place is on the water, and the view is amazing, the service, food and drinks are excellent! This is probably about my 3rd time at Benny’s On The Beach and the best experience I had. It was packed, but perfectly packed. The service was so great. Thank you to Josh. Every time we went to the bar he made sure to take care of us and everyone else as soon as possible. The wait time for our drinks was less than a minute! We also saw him being extremely courteous to everyone else which is so nice to see. I know people often say«It’s their job». But I think that Josh went above and beyond his requirements. And we really thank you for that. You will see us very soon! Thank you for an amazing addition to our wonderful day Josh and Benny’s On The Beach! :)

Fantastic place, even though it was windy, the spot in the pier just makes it more than worth it. The service is awesome, smiley people, happy people, very customer oriented servers… The food delish! I simply loved the experience and would highly recommend it.

Great place to walk to. Food is amazing. It’s always busy but you do get seated quick. But WARNING do not forget your shoes and shirt, they will not let you sit and eat. You can do take out.

Benny’s is a very casual restaurant literally on the lakeworth pier. The view of the ocean is really nice. However the wind is intense I suggest eating in their ocean room upstairs. The wait was long 40 minutes for brunch and the restaurant wasn’t even full. They limit the servers they have which leaves some tables unoccupied. I don’t quite understand this concept. When you finally get your food(20−30min) for French toast and eggs it’s pretty good. The French toast was my favorite thing on the dish. The eggs were ok a little overcooked. The potatoes were seasoned and enjoyable. The bacon was good, I wasn’t too crazy about the sausage. It had a heavy anise taste. Also they only have two bathrooms so there’s always a wait. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re staying in the area and it’s the closest option.

On a trip up the coast on A1A, we decided to stop here for a quick lunch on the beach. The view alone is worth the stop, but the menu is nothing short of fantastic. We had my father’s dog with us, so we took a seat at the service bar at the entrance to the pier(in other words, this place is dog friendly.) My wife and father both had the classic burger, both of which came out on a huge challan bun. With a choice of American, aged white cheddar, or Swiss cheese, this burger really hits the marks for a nice lunch staple. But the fries are amazing: seasoned perfectly and taste like they are double-fried. I had the Mahi tacos, which arrived in triplicate, with a side of rice. The Mahi was done perfectly, sitting on a bed of house made slaw and dressed with rendered onions. Absolutely fabulous! If you come here on a weekday for lunch, ask for Josh: his service, his personality, and his attentiveness to your needs is the best I’ve seen in the service industry in a long while. It is a little on the pricey side – especially for lunch – which is the only thing keeping this review from earning five stars.

I don’t know if I’d recommend the crab cake, but I did enjoy it. I’m still deciding if I devoured it out of pure hunger or enjoyment or a combination of both. However, it was good. We also had loaded French fries which was also good but maybe not good enough to recommend. I like the ambience, nice and relaxed with live music or upstairs with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The hot sauces were also yummy. All in all, everything was good but not«run off and get some now!» good. I definitely want to go back for brunch!

The outdoor bar has karaōke on Wednesdays & Fridays that makes me wish I lived closer! Karaōke, on the beach with friendly folks is how I want to spend my retirement. No question. Jacqie Jackson & Rasta make for an excellent karaōke host team! They fill in when others aren’t ready to sing and keep the place feeling lively. Plus, Jacqie’s dance moves make you want to get up and shake your butt. And LEGS — Jacqie’s moves in heels defy gravity. In addition to the wonderful hosts, the crowd that collects on the outdoor patio to sing is an excellent group of people! I actually was laying on the sand when I heard signing and came up to check it out. So glad I did! As for Benny’s, the bartenders were amazing. I got to try a few of the local craft beers that I might have otherwise missed and a margarita to make sure I could actually go through with singing on my own in front of strangers. On one of my visits, I had some fish tacos that were good, but still not quite like I’m used to from home in Southern California.(spoiled, I know). I’d be back JUST to join karaōke, with that said, the view of the ocean from the patio and cold beers would also bring me back, so no complaints here!
