Flanigan’s Bar & Grill

Worst possible customer service. My wife asked for a side of basil for her Italian meal and was refused because it wasn’t part of the recipe. They put basil on other dishes and we would gladly pay an up charge but none of that mattered. The manager and the corporate office both stood behind this ridiculous policy. The corporate office replied to my email with «do not ask us to modify, substitute or alter our menu.» If their recipes were that great, people wouldn’t ask for changes. Also, they didn’t have any problem leaving things off my meal. Wasn’t that an alteration? I asked if they would alter their recipes to accommodate allergies. Their answer was the same.

Three letters FUN! Interesting people, a more quiet location as opposed to Southern location. Jess the bartender is fab and friendly and drinks half off after 9 all night??? We were there over two hours and a forty dollar bill… hey no problem! Loved it!

Food has gone downhill and I won’t be returning until they change their to-​go order policy. The last time I ordered to-​go from Flanagan’s I spoke with someone over the phone and put the order in without any problems. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes and that’s when I arrived.
When I went to the restaurant to pick it up I was instructed to go stand by the bar. Once there I stood there for over 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. They weren’t that busy and even if they were, a simple I’ll be right with you would have been fine. Once I finally got acknowledged it took another 10 minutes of waiting until the food actually came out. When I made it home (less than 5 minutes away), the food was ice cold, which means that it was sitting there ready for quite some time and the inconsiderate employees just didn’t bring it out.
That’s very rude and annoying but to add insult to injury, I happened to look over the itemized copy of my receipt and saw they included an extra $ 2.50 surcharge for it being a to-​go order. First, I was never told over the phone when placing the order that there would be an extra charge for it, which is deceptive on the part of the business. Second, and even more important, this charge is ridiculous. I’ve never seen another place do this. I’m sure the argument is the charge is there to cover the cost of to-​go containers, bags, etc. However, that argument is invalid because if I were to eat in the restaurant I would be using plates, glasses and silverware, which would all have to be washed by a person, both of which would cost more than to-​go containers. To-​go orders are also easier and quicker for the restaurant. Given this, many restaurants actually offer a 10% or more discount for to-​go orders. So charging someone extra for a to-​go order is both greedy and nonsensical.
I called to complain to the manager about this charge and was told that it was the way they did things and in the future I could avoid this charge by either (1) having an order of $ 100 or more, or (2) purchasing a beverage. So in essence the only way to avoid their surcharge is to give them more money.
I really hate to post a bad review, especially since Flanagan’s is a family company and $ 2.50 isn’t a lot of money in the grand scheme of things. However, it is the principle of the matter. My last experience there was very poor and them charging customers this extra fee for to-​go orders is just sneaky, rude, and ridiculous. This is something that needs to be changed and until it is I will no longer eat at this or any Flanagan’s.

Honestly the best bar food I’ve had. The portions are magnificent and there always some special going on. You can’t go wrong with the Caribbean burger, fish dip, rib rolls, wings, tumbleweed onions, nachos (they look like they’re on steroids), the list can go on and pretty much covers the entire menu. The only thing I haven’t tried are the pasta dishes but I’m sure are delicious as well. This is a definite must stop whenever we are in town.

Very Good pub food, reasonable prices, friendly service. Whats not to like. I had the Texas Burger. It was well seasoned patty with great and plentiful toppings. Others had bang bang shrimp, and a chicken sandwich. Everyone was happy happy happy

Awesome hamburger! Wknds the place is packed but service is fast and food is consistently good. Not a bad deal on happy hour either and Ashley is a great server. Even ribs to go tasted fantastic day later. Managers are diligent about checking in with patrons… Always nice

I am a huge Flanigan’s fan and this is the one closest to my house. I find the food is very consistent and affordable among all of them which is a comforting fact in case I am looking for a good place to eat that’s not one of my usual haunts in my local area.
I do enjoy the atmosphere at a couple of other Flanigan’s a little more, Boca and Wellington come to mind because they have more day light and windows which is refreshing. However, the food and service never disappoints me at any of them.
I would like to point out a favorite dish but I enjoy so many at this chain which is one of the reasons I enjoy this restaurant. So often you go to one place for one dish that you know is good but here I know I can order several different things and be satisfied.
Two complaints that keep Flanigan’s from the 5 star rating… if you have market price items on your menu I think that you should put the prices up somewhere in the restaurant so I don’t have to ask. This makes me feel like I’m being cheap and possibly judged by my server. Flanigan’s is ripe for this since they all have a chalk board centrally located with specials on it already. Secondly, sometimes I notice that they put regularly priced items on what you would assume to be the specials board at the regular price, I feel this is a little deceitful.
All of this being said this Flanigan’s is a great place to get a great meal with huge portions at a fair price. I would recommenced my local one and any others in the chain to anyone.

I’ve been to the Flanigan’s over on Southern several times for lunch and it’s always been great, so I expected the same here. Boy, was I mistaken.
I ordered a Caribbean burger, medium. It came out RAW. The burger was red, cold, and mushy in the middle. The waiter took it back, the manager apologized and gave me a free soup, and said they were going to remake the burger. The burger that came back was my same burger, that I had previously cut in half, turned so that it did not look like the same burger, and was still raw inside.
My friend ordered a salad with blackened dolphin, and the fish was cold. Not cool, cold. At least it was cooked.
At the end of it I didn’t have to pay for anything, and the soup was good. The waiter was good, and the management did apologize and seemed sincere, but man that burger was raw.

This is the perfect neighborhood bar and grill. Wood picnic tables and booths, tvs, fish artwork hanging on the walls, and great service. This is not a classy place, but the waiters are quick and the food is good! We got the wings appetizer which was really good! And the ribs entrée and the prime rib entrée. The ribs were amazing and a full rack for $ 17.99! They were huge and so good. We even had leftovers for the next day. They have hard cider (gluten free). We will definitely go there again! You get so much quality food for your money.

Yum yum yummy is all I can say about the ribs at this place.
The 10 ounce hamburgers are also phenomenal. the service is a little slow sometimes but the girls are always friendly and if you get one of the good waitresses you won’t be disappointed.
Also the Joe’s steakhouse soup is a must if they have it.

Food was meh, and atmosphere was terrible. Thought it would be like a Duffys or any other franchised sports bar. Instead it was dark and seemed like a local dive bar. Someone at our table looked around and even said «this reminds me of the movie Waiting.» Yikes. On the plus side, they did change multiple tvs for us, immediately after we asked and the waiters/​waitresses were really nice and quick. Just needs to be updated I suppose.

This is a great casual place to go, good food, good atmosphere and good people… yumyum!

I love Flanigans! Sat at the bar last night, Krissy did a great job, very personable. You can’t beat the ribs. Not much to say, great food, great atmosphere!

The Texas Burger!
A delivery mishap happened at our table and I ended up with a medium rare Texas Burger and was NOT disappointed!
The blue cheese, the onion rings, the bbq sauce all made for a really delicious burger! At $ 8.99, you can not beat that price!
Between drinks in a souvenir cup ($ 2.59), my meal was more than complete! I can’t wait to go back and give it another go!

Can’t remember last time I had such great service from our superb waitress Krissy to the general manager who made rounds. Food was great, always come here for a good burger but truly was the service that prompted this review.

Ordered a philly cheese steak! They are almost better then brus rooms! Had potato skins and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The potato skins are huge!!! They will fill you up! Ordered the dirty rice with my philly cheese steak and it was very bland! I wouldn’t order it again. Service is always great and happy hour is till 7:00 everyday.

Great burgers! And value for $. Not the greAtest part of town, I saw a homeless man taking a dump there by the canal once and the parking lot fills up fairly quickly.

Food here was so delish we went back twice while we on vacation in west palm! My boyfriend fell head over heels for the ribs. While we share all of our food all of the time I was reluctant to give up any of mine! The service was not too shabby but lacking the second night. I would definitely recommend this to everyone… verity is the menu!
