Came while on vacation, had an awesome first experience. The staff was very helpful and thoroughly went over all the nuts and bolts a-​z! Highly recommended!!! Also great stress reliever!

Disappointed. The staff told me I needed to «prove proficiency» by taking their $ ⁵⁰⁄₃₀ minute class before they rented me a gun even if I had my concealed weapons license. So, I can purchase a gun, but I can’t rent one? Ladies, don’t bother.

What a great place. Had everything I was looking for. They put some TFO’S on my Glock 43. Great job guys. The staff is amazing. Nice job guys you have a customer for life !!!

Excellent shooting range. Good choice of guns to rent. Reasonable rental, range and ammo charges. Helpful informative staff.

Very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism at this shooting range. Today’s concealed weapons class was GREAT! The instructor was thorough, knowledgable, experienced and quite funny. Jimmy ROCKS!!! I will certainly return, to this location, every time I return from NYC.

I’ve been coming here for a while now. I really love this place. Great staff who are friendly and knowledgeable. Never had to wait too long for a lane. It’s very low key and relaxed.

This place is super cool. Friendly, helpful staff, very nice range, good collection of guns for sale. Bring your own ammo, and access to the range is discounted. I think you can shoot any ammo in this range.

I have been shooting here for years.
To my delight the air conditioning on the range is working properly now!
Update: The functioning air conditioning was a fluke apparently.
The last time I went it was a «steam room» once again and poor ventilation to boot.
If the mgmt could get this resolved, it would be a much more pleasant place to shoot.
(This is my only concern, everything else is great)
They now have their handguns in vertical displays instead of laying on their sides.
As a result, they carry a much wider selection now.
Particularly nice collection of guns for concealed carry.
At least for handguns, you are not charged by the hour for range time.
At least one of the newer ranges in the County charges by the hour.
I won’t go there because of this policy.
Another update:
Checked their website on 7÷6÷15.
I would recommend differentiating yourself from the competition and going back to no time limit even if you bring you own ammo. Personally, I rarely spend more than an hour on the range. It would be nicer to concentrate on your shooting instead of watching the clock.
Here is the new fee schedule for shooting:
Pistol Range
$ 15 Unlimited with our exclusive ammunition.
$ 15 per hour with your own ammunition.
Rifle
$ 20.00 Per Hour
BTW, their FFL transfer fee of $ 50 is NOT competitive.
There are a number of less expensive FFL’s in the County.
I like (most of) you guys, I am just telling it like it is.
I have had some excellent experiences with a couple of the staff in the past
whether it was good advice or one staff member was so kind as to fix a fairly simple
(but beyond my ability) problem with one of my firearms yet refused my offer to pay.
Now that is AWESOME customer service!

I’ve been a active shooter for a long time. Years back, this place had terrible customer service! Now that it has a new owner, I can say the service is a lot better. I go every week now. Wouldn’t buy guns from here, seems over prices tho.

Much better than Delray Shooting but that’s not hard. Has a decent selection and sometimes reasonable prices. Very calm and pleasurable staff. The range isn’t bad but you can run into idiots as the case with most ranges around here.

Great place to go shooting, great staff, and multiple choice of weapons to rent, for my first time experience on a range it was great.

I went to PBSS with my wife on a Friday while on holiday to do some shooting. The range was not busy. The store and the range were clean and well organized. We were given a range of options to rent and ended up trying a SIG226 and S&W M&P 9 mm. Both firearms were clean and operated without any issues while on the range.
As Rusty S. pointed out the two-​point target retention system is a nice feature on the range.
Most importantly, I think, the staff that we interacted with were friendly and shared a lot of helpful information to a couple of novice shooters. If you are just getting in to shooting you might want to consider a visit to PBSS for this reason. There was no attitude from anyone.

I recently stopped in to PBSC to take a class from the team at Florida Firearms Training, who, unfortunately, no longer offer classes at Delray Shooting Center. From its location and the building’s appearance on the outside, I really didn’t expect much. However, exterior appearances can be deceiving, and this is a pretty nice shop and range.
I was very impressed with the PBSC staff. They were really friendly, especially to some guy who was just browsing their shop waiting for a class to begin. For those who’ve been shooting in Palm Beach County for any amount of time, there’s also some old friendly faces in here who’ve transplanted from other PBC shops. That’s probably a good testimony to the owner.
What struck me the most about the shop itself is how clean and well presented it is. I’ve been to a lot of ranges in SoFla, and most could care less about their appearance. Not only did the shop look clean, but it has a lot of open space making it easier to browse the stock on a busy day. (Apparently, this trend is starting to catch on, as DSC recently renovated their shop, to the point I thought I walked in the wrong business — it was that much of an improvement.)
The range is open and well ventilated. All lanes are in a single large room. I’m pretty sure those lanes are pistol only — I didn’t notice if they had a separate rifle range. They have a two-​point target retention system, making the targets a bit more stable than the one-​point system used at a lot of other ranges.
If PBSC wasn’t so out of my way, I might make it a regular stop for range time. I’ll at least stop in for a price check when I purchase my next firearm.

Great place. You can shoot your own ammo. I actually purchased a gun from here several years ago. Whenever I’ve been there, the staff is helpful and don’t talk down to me for being a chick in a gun range!

Here’s the scoop: buy their ammo and it’s $ 8 to shoot all day. Bring your own ammo and it’s $ 15 an hour. No military, foreign (Wolf, Sellier, etc.) or reloads are allowed– and their reasoning is sound. Their ammo prices are better than Gander Mountain up the road too.
One of the cleanest ranges around, and there are precious few in this part of Florida.
