An example of a ‘for-​profit’ facility with little accountability of what you actually get for the instruction…
My son and daughter whom are both in the gifted program in LZ schools were not provided instruction and essentially given ‘workbooks and test sheets’ to complete. When questioned the facility owner could not specially tell us what and how my son was given instruction for the day. I don’t care how bright you are — no kid knows by osmosis what specific angles are called without being taught. Owner was defensive, could not explain the approach and told me there was nothing they could have done. Are you telling me my kids are unteachable? Pretty terrible statement from supposed educators. Parents beware! Better money spent elsewhere. This is suppose to be enrichment. Not fill out worksheets and tell your kid to learn on their own.
